Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menguji apakah terdapat hubungan antara pertimbangan konsekuensi masa depan dengan perilaku sembrono pada remaja SMK sebanyak 260 orang siswa SMK dengan teknik accidental sampling. Desain dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dan dianalisis menggunakan product-moment pearson. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran skala confuse untuk mengukur pertimbangan konsekuensi masa depan dan reckless behavior questionnaire untuk pengukuran perilaku sembrono. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif sebesar r= -0.129 yang signifikan 0.038 (p<0.05) antara pertimbangan konsekuensi masa depan dengan perilaku sembrono pada remaja SMK. Artinya semakin tinggi nilai pertimbangan konsekuensi masa depan, maka kecenderungan untuk melakukan perilaku sembrono menjadi rendah, begitupun dengan sebaliknya.
English Abstract
The aims of this study is to examine whether there is a relationship bertween consideration of future consequences with reckless behavior in adolescent vocational high school as many as 260 vocational hish school student with accidental sampling technique. This study uses a quantitative approach desaign with correlational methods and using Pearson Product-Moment for analysed. Data collection was carried out by distributing the Confuse Scale to measure consideration of future consequences and Reckless Behavior Questionnaire for measuring reckless behavior. The results of the study showed that was a negative relationship between consideration of future consequences (r= -0.129) with reckless behavior in adolescent vocational high school and the significant is 0.038 (p<0.05) which has means the higher value of consideration of future consequences, the tendency to perform reckless behavior is low, as well as vice versa.
