Abstract
Penelitian ini mempelajari pengaruh paparan 0,5 ppm ikan nila berformalin secara oral selama satu bulan terhadap perubahan fisiologis mencit (mus musculus) betina dari induk yang terpapar ikan nila berformalin 0,5 ppm selama 3 bulan. Hasil analisa diperoleh bahwa pemberian perlakuan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap perubahan berat organ mencit, Kreatinin, SGPT, Albumin, Globulin dan berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar formaldehid dan SGOT dalam serum darah. Penelitian ini juga mengamati tentang gejala klinis, jumlah kematian dan kondisi makroskopis mencit yang mati. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah menghimbau pada masyarakat supaya tidak menggunakan formalin dengan dosis sekecil apapun sebagai pengawet makanan.
English Abstract
This research studies about exposure effect of 0.5 ppm Oreocromis niloticus given orally formalin during one month for changing female Mus musculus exposed as Oreocromis niloticus given formalin of 0.5 ppm during 3 months. Analysis result suggested that treatment giving does not give real effect for changing organ weight of Mus musculus, Kreatinin, SGPT, Albumin, globulin and affect in real for formaldehyde degree and SGOT in blood serum. This research also observes about clinical symptom, death number and microscopic condition for dead mus musculus. The recommendation of the research is to urge community not to use formalin with doses as small as possible as food preserver.
