GanarPriambodo (2016) Efek Residu Aplikasi Asam Humat Dan Sp 36 Terhadap Sifat Kimia Tanah Dan Pertumbuhan Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt) Pada Inceptisol, Dau Malang. Sarjana thesis, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

English Abstract

Inceptisol is highly prospective soil to be developed as a center for the production of food crops, especially on rice, corn, and soybeans if only the soil and plants manage properly. The obstacles in the Inceptisol soil are the acidic pH, the slight of C Organic, the availability of N and K total. Low organic substance in the Inceptisol could be improved with some application of humic acid fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer. Humic acid is one of the substance that could lead the improvement of the plant growth and production, soil fertility, and the enhancement of nutrient availability. This is due to the humic acid which has a slow release characteristic, therefore the application of humic acid on the first plantation is expected to be able to give the effect to the chemical properties of the soil and the growth of sweet corn in the second planting. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of humic acid residues at some concentration and SP36 towards the physical properties of the soil, the absorbtion of P and the growth of sweet corn (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt). This research was conducted in a screen house which is located in Dau, Malang. Thus, the chemical analysis was conducted in Laboratory of Soil Chemistry, Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University, Malang, on December 2015 until February 2016. In this study, the researcher used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial research Afrilia residue (2015) with two factors. The first factor is the dose application of humic acid (A) that has been used which consists of four levels i.e. A0 = 0 ppm; A1 = 1000 ppm; A2 = 2000 ppm; A3 = 4000 ppm and the second factor is the dose size of SP36 (S), which consists of three levels i.e. S1 = 50% dose recommendation; S2 = 75% dose recommendation; S3 = 100% in dose recommendation. The amount of the treatment in this study were (4x3) combinations of treatments and 3 repetitions, thus the overall total there are 36 treatments. In this study application of fertilizer using a dose of urea 300kg ha-1 and KCl fertilizer dose 150kg ha-1 The results of the research showed that the residual of humic acid applications gives significant effect on the changes of soil chemical properties (pH and P soil availability) in the second plantation. The residue of humic acid application is also able to increase the growth of plant height and the amount of sweet corn leaves at 8 weeks after planting but the P total of the plant influenced by the residues of SP36 on the first plantation.
