Abstract

Kondisi tanah di wilayah perkebunan kelapa sawit PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. Kumai, Pangkalan Bun, Kalimantan Tengah dilaporkan memiliki tanah yang tergolong masam dengan kandungan unsur beracun Al tinggi sehingga diduga akan menurunkan ketersediaan unsur hara. Ketersedian unsur hara yang mungkin terbatas adalah unsur hara P. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi kondisi kesuburan tanah setelah pemberian berbagai dosis dolomit di berbagai zona perkebunan kelapa sawit, berkenaan dengan perubahan pH tanah, ketersedian P, total basa, dan kadar Al-dd Percobaan dilakukan pada kebun sawit dengan umur tanam 10 tahun dengan tekstur tanah lom berklei dan memiliki kondisi relief dan topografi homogen. Percobaan dilakukan dengan Rancangan Acak Kelompok. Terdapat 6 taraf dosis pemberian dolomit yaitu 0,17 Mg kg-1 (1,0xdosis) (kontrol), 0,23 Mg kg-1 (1,3xdosis), 0,25 Mg kg-1 (1,5xdosis), 0,28 Mg kg-1 (1,7xdosis), 0,34 Mg kg-1 (2,0xdosis) dan 0,39 Mg kg-1 (2,3xdosis). Pengamatan dilakukan pada sifat kimia tanah (pH, Al-dd, P-tersedia, Ca dan Mg) dengan kedalaman tanah yang sama (0- 10 cm) pada empat zona manajemen kebun yaitu zona gawangan mati, antar pokok, pasar pikul dan piringan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di OA 29 AMR PT. Astra Agro Lestari mulai Januari hingga Mei 2016. Taraf pemberian dolomit hingga 2,0xdosis meningkatkatkan pH (pH-H2O 4,5) dan menurunkan kadar Al-dd dibandingkan kontrol (turun hingga 23,89%), namun upaya meningkatkan P-tersedia dengan pemberian 2,3xdosis tidak menguntungkan karena pemberian dolomit 1,0xdosis (0,17 Mg kg-1) telah mampu meningkatkan P-tersedia sebesar 33,23 mg kg-1 dan total basa (K+Ca+Mg+Na) sebesar 2,51 cmol(+)kg-1. Pemberian dolomit di zona bahan organik tidak meningkatkan pH, menurunkan kadar Al-dd, meningkatkan P-tersedia dan total basa dibandingkan zona manajemen pemupukkan kebun. Zona pemupukkan kebun memiliki rata-rata pH H2O 6,4% , pH KCl 4,9%, P-tersedia 358,1 % dan total basa 167,5% lebih tinggi dan kadar Al-dd 61,7% lebih rendah dibandingkan zona bahan organik.

English Abstract

Regional soil conditions in oil palm plantations PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. Kumai, Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan was reported to have acidic soil withcontent of Toxic Elements Al high rate thus might be Lowered nutrient availability. Availability of nutrients that might limited is a P nurient. The aim of this research was to evaluation conditions of soil fertility after giving dolomit ameliorant treatment related to changed of soil pH, P-availability, total chem and Al-exc. The field experiments were performed on oil palms plantations with plant age 10 Years which has soil texture loam and relieved condition and topography homogeneous. This research arrange by Randomized Block Structure. Field treatment was consist of 6 level dose of dolomite, namely 17 Mg kg-1 (1,0xdoses) (control), 0,23 Mg kg-1 (1,3xdoses), 0,25 Mg kg-1 (1,5xdoses), 0,28 Mg kg-1 (1,7xdoses), 0,34 Mg kg-1 (2,0xdoses) dan 0,39 Mg kg-1 (2,3xdoses). The measurment of Soil Chemical Properties (pH, Al-exc, Availability of P, Ca and Mg) were performed on the same soil depth (0-10 cm) in varoius zones there are zone of front stack (GM), zone of between trunks (AP), zone of estate fertilizer management (PI), and zone of harvesting transport (PP). Zone of front stack (GM) and zone of between trunks (AP) is zones of organic matter. This research was conducted in OA 29 AMR PT. Astra Agro Lestari From January until May 2016. Dolomit application untill 2,0xdoses increased pH (pH-H20 4,5) and decreased Al-exc compared by control (decrease untill 23,89%), but the way to increase P-availability by giving 2,3 doses is not profitable because dolomit aplication 1.0 x doses (0,17 Mg kg-1) was able to increase P-availability such 33, 23 mg kg-1 and total chem (K+Ca+Mg+Na) such 2,51 cmol(+)kg-1. Dolomit application in organic matter zone is not increase pH, decrease Al-exc, increase Pavailability and total chem compared by zone of estate fertilizer management.Zone of estate fertilizer have the average pH H2O 6,4% ,pH KCl 4,9%, P-availability 358,1% and total chem 167,5% higher and Al-exc 61,7% is lower than organic matter zones.
