Abstract

Tanaman kailan (Brassica oleraceae var. alboglabra) merupakan salah satu jenis sayuran famili Brassicaceae dengan kandungan gizi cukup tinggi yang dibutuhkan oleh tubuh manusia seperti protein, mineral, dan vitamin. Tanaman kailan memiliki potensi tinggi untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia. Sistem bubidaya yang dapat menghasilkan produk yang berkualitas tinggi yaitu budidaya tanaman kailan secara organik (Krisnawati et al., 2014). Menurut Provvidenti (1996), menyatakan bahwa penyakit yang sering menyerang tanaman kailan yang termasuk dalam famili Brassicae yaitu Turnip Mosaic Virus (TuMV). TuMV menginfeksi sebagian besar tanaman dari Famili Brassicaceae dan dapat merugikan secara ekonomis bahkan dapat menyebabkan gagal panen. Tanaman kailan yang terserang oleh virus mosaik dapat ditekan dengan menambahkan unsur hara. Pemberian pupuk organik cair dari urin kelinci dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif penambahan unsur hara didalam tanah. Berdasarkan hasil riset Badan Penelitian Ternak (Balitnak), 2005 telah diketahui kandungan unsur hara makro dan mikro urin kelinci unsur N, P, K rata-rata (N) 2,72% , (P) 1,1%, dan (K) 0,5% dan kandungan ini lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan urin hewan ternak yang lain seperti sapi, kambing, domba, kuda dan babi sehingga dapat memberikan penambahan nutrisi yang baik bagi pertumbuhan tanaman dan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan tanaman. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair (poc) urin kelinci terhadap serangan virus TuMV pada tanaman kailan serta mengetahui pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kailan. Sedangkan, hipotesis yang diajukan adalah pemberian pupuk organik cair (poc) urin kelinci berpengaruh menurunkan intensitas serangan virus TuMV dan meningkatkan pertumbuhan serta produksi tanaman kailan. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan di Komunitas Organik Brenjonk yang berlokasi Kab. Mojokerto pada bulan februari hingga Maret 2016. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan enam perlakuan dan setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak empat kali. Sehingga, diperoleh 24 perlakuan dan setiap perlakuan terdapat 2 tanaman yang digunakan sebagai tanaman uji. Perlakuan tersebut yaitu P0: Kontrol atau tanpa pemberian pupuk organik cair (poc) urin kelinci dan tanpa inokulasi TuMV, P1: tanpa pemberian pupuk organik cair (poc) urin kelinci dan inokulasi TuMV., P2: Pemberian pupuk organik cair (poc) urin kelinci 8 ml/L dan inokulasi TuMV, P3: Pemberian pupuk organik cair (poc) urin kelinci 16 ml/L dan inokulasi TuMV., P4: Pemberian pupuk organik cair (poc) urin kelinci 24 ml/L dan inokulasi TuMV, dan P5: Pemberian pupuk organik cair (poc) urin kelinci 32 ml/L dan inokulasi TuMV. Variabel pengamatan meliputi masa inkubasi dan gejala penyakit, intensitas serangan penyakit, tinggi tanaman (cm), bobot basah tanaman (cm), panjang akar (cm), dan luas daun tanaman (cm2). Data pengamatan yang diperoleh dari hasil percobaan dianalisis dengan analisis ragam menggukan uji F. Apabila data menunjukkan pengaruh nyata dari perlakuan, maka dilanjutkan dengan Uji perbandingan antar perlakuan menggunakan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) pada taraf 5%. Hasil dari pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair urin kelinci dengan konsentrasi 8ml/L sampai dengan 32ml/L yang diaplikasikan sebanyak 8 kali, dapat memperpanjang masa inkubasi dan tidak dapat menurunkan intensitas serangan TuMV. Hasil dari pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair urin kelinci dengan konsentrasi 8ml/L sampai dengan 32ml/L yang diaplikasikan sebanyak 8 kali pada tanaman kailan, dapat mingkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kalian meliputi bobot basah tanaman, tinggi tanaman, panjang akar tanaman dan luas daun tanaman.

English Abstract

Kai Lan (Brassica oleraceae var. alboglabra) is one of the types of vegetables in the family Brassicaceae with relatively high nutrient content required by the human body such as protein, minerals, and vitamins. Kai Lan has a high potential for being developed in Indonesia. The cultivation system that can produce a high quality product that is organically cultivated of kai Lan (Krisnawati et al., 2001). According to Provvidenti (1996), that the disease often attacks the plants of kai Lan is Turnip Mosaic Virus (TuMV). TuMV infect most of the plant from the family of Brassicaceae and can damage cost, moreover can cause a failed harvest. Kai Lan which is infected by mosaic virus can be suppressed by adding nutrient elements. The giving of liquid organic Rabbit fertilizer can be used as an alternative to the addition of nutrient elements in the soils. Based on the results of the research from Balai Penelitian Ternak (Balitnak), (2005) has been known the content of macro and micro nutrient elements rabbit,s urine, elements of N, P, K on average 2.72% (N), (P) 1.1%, and (K) 0.5% and it was higher if compared to the urine the other farm animals such as cows, goats, sheep, horses and pigs so as to provide the addition of nutrients that are good for plant growth and can increase the resistance of plant. The purpose of this research was conducted to find out the influence of the giving of liquid organic rabbit fertilizer against TuMV attack of kai Lan, know the effect on growth and Kai Lan production. The hypothesis is the giving of liquid organic rabbit fertilizer can influential to lower the intensity of TuMV attack, increase the growth and Kai Lan production. Research conducted at the Organic Community Brenjonk Mojokerto regency, East Java. The research was conducted from February to April 2016. The Research was conducted using randomized block design (RAK) with six treatments and each treatment was repeated four times. So, retrieved 24 treatment and every treatment there are 2 plants that are used as test plant. The treatment are P0: control or without liquid organic rabbit fertilizer application and without inoculation of TuMV, P1: without liquid organic rabbit fertilizer application and inoculation TuMV., P2: the Application of liquid organic fertilizer 8 ml/L and inoculation of TuMV, P3: the Application of liquid organic rabbit fertilizer 16 ml/L and inoculation of TuMV, P4: The Application of liquid organic rabbit fertilizer 24 ml/L and inoculation of TuMV , and P5: the Aplication of liquid organic rabbit fertilizer 32 ml/L and inoculation of TuMV. The observation variable are include incubation period and symptoms of the disease, the intensity attack of disease, plant height (cm), plant weigh (cm), length (cm), roots (cm) and broad leaf of plants (cm2). Observation of data obtained from the experiment results were analyzed with analysis of variety use of F test table. When the data showed the real influence of the treatment, then continued with a comparison Test between the treatment using LSD test (BNT) at the 5% level. The result of observation showed that liquid organic rabbit fertilizer with a consentrate 8ml/L up to 32ml/L applied as much as 8 times, can extend the incubation period and can’t decrease the intensity of TuMV attack. Liquid organic rabbit fertilizer with a consentrate 8ml/L up to 32ml/L also applied as much as 8 times on the plant can increase the growth and production of Kai Lan include a Fresh weight of plant, plant height, plant root length and leaf area of plant.
