Abstract
Taman di daerah Bali memiliki sentuhan tinggi dari segi adat istiadatnya. Intan Wianta dalam Salain (1996) menyebutkan, pengertian taman dari sudut pandang masyarakat Bali adalah tempat untuk bersenang-senang (rekreasi/lilacita) milik raja atau dewa. Istilah adat berasal dari bahasa Arab, yang apabila diterjemahkan dalam Bahasa Indonesia berarti “kebiasaan” (Rawawino, 2009). Fungsi tanaman dalam taman Bali memiliki fungsi sebagai pelengkap Upakara, Usada, Filosofi penempatan dan penambah nilai Estetika taman. Karena itu diperlukan kajian tetang pengaruh adat dalam penentuan Tanaman dalam taman Bali agar dapat meningkatkan nilai estetika dalam taman Bali tanpa menghilangkan pengaruh budaya masyarakat Bali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui pengaruh adat dalam pemilihan dan penempatan jenis tanaman dalam taman di Puri Kanginan Singaraja – Bali. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah Pemilihan dan penempatan jenis tanaman dalam taman Puri Kanginan dipengaruhi oleh adat istiadat masyarakat Bali. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Puri Kanginan Singaraja - Bali yang terletak di Jl. Gajah Mada 2 Singaraja - Bali. Waktu pelaksanaan yaitu mulai Bulan April sampai dengan bulan Juli 2014. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Alat tulis, Rol meteran, Thermohygrometer, Perekam Suara, dan Kamera. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tanaman dalam taman dan Denah Puri Kanginan Singaraja - Bali. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Terdapat tiga tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengumpulan data atau inventarisasi, evaluasi, dan rekomendasi. Inventari sasi dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data aspek fisik, aspek social dan aspek ekonomi. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan teknik skoring, beberapa hal yang di evalusi antara lain jenis tanaman dalam taman, fugsi tanaman dalam taman, dan penempatan tanaman dalam taman. Tahap terakhir yang dilakukan setelah evaluasi adalah rekomendasi yang akan diberikan dalam bentuk uraian deskriptif dan gambar mengenai pemilihan jenis tanaman serta pemilihan tanaman dalam taman. Berdasarkan hasil pengelompokan dapat diketahui bahwa pemilihan tanaman di Puri Kanginan dipengaruhi oleh adat istiadat masyarakat Bali. Hal ini terlihat pada hasil yaitu sebanyak 35 jenis tanaman (18 jenis tanaman Upakara, 4 jenis tanaman Usada, dan 13 jenis tanaman menurut Filosofi masyarakat bali) atau 55% dipengaruhi oleh adat istiadat masyarakat Bali sedangkan 29 jenis tanaman atau 45% pemilihan tanaman dipengaruhi oleh nilai estetika dalam suatu taman. Penempatan tanaman di dalam taman Puri Kanginan sebagian besar sesuai dengan adat istiadat masyarakat Bali yaitu sebanyak 14 jenis tanaman atau 88%, sebagian kecil kurang sesuai yaitu sebanyak satu jenis tanaman atau 6%, dan tidak sesuai sebanyak satu tanaman atau 6%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa masyakat Bali sangat menjunjung tinggi nilai adat istiadat dalam pemilihan dan penempatan tanaman dalam taman Bali.
English Abstract
Garden in the balinese have a touch of high in terms of cuture. Diamond wianta in salain ( 1996 ) mentioned , park sense from the perspective of people of bali is the place to have fun ( recreation / lilacita ) belonged to the king or to a deity . A term derived from the arabic when rendered in indonesian language meaning (customs). The function of plants in the garden of bali having the function of as a complementary upakara, usada, the philosophy of the placement and adder aesthetic value the park. Because of that is required of the study one was about the influence of customary in the determination of plants in the garden of bali to increase the aesthetic value in the garden of Bali without removing the influence of culture of the people of Bali. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the customs in the selection and placement of the type of plants in a Puri Kanginan Singaraja - Bali. The hypothesis of this research is the election and the deployment of the type of plant in the garden of Puri Kanginan influenced by the cultur or Balines people. The research activity was carried out in Puri Kanginan Singaraja -- Bali which is located on Jl .Gajah mada 2 Singaraja -- Bali . The period for implementation starting months april to july 2014 . An instrument used in this research was stationery , rollers the meter , thermohygrometer , recorder sound , and the camera . Material used in this research is a plant in the garden and a map of Puri Kanginan Singaraja – Bali . Methods used in this research is a method of descriptive. There are three stages in this study that is the data collection or inventory , evaluation , and recommendations. Inventory done to get the data the physical aspects , the aspect of social and the economic aspect. The evaluation is done with skoring technique , a number of things in evalusi including types of plants in the garden , fugsi plants in the garden , and placement of plants in the garden. The last stage that is done after evaluation is the recommendations to be provided in the form of descriptive the discussion and pictures pertaining to an election the types of crops and the selection plants in the garden. Determination of plant in the Puri Kanginan garden, in Puri Kanginan use 50 species of plants with the quantity of a crop a total of 510 plants. Plants in Puri Kanginan plants in domination by of herbaceous plants that is as many as 46 %, shrubby plants as many as 32 %, plant trees as many as 18 %, and 4 % plant a ground cover. Plant used to the strongholds is a plant that was easy to get and cultivation in the bali. Based on the results it can be seen that the selection of the grouping of plants at Puri Kanginan as many as 35 varieties of a plant or 55 % influenced by culture people of bali while 32 types of crops or 45 % the selection of plants affected by the value of aesthetics in a garden .The determination of plants in the garden of Puri Kanginan customary in accordance with the philosophy of the people of Bali , with 14 types of crops 88 % in accordance, one kind of 6 % less consistent and one kind of plant 6 % not in accordance. Based on the results the redesigning was necessary for some parts of the park in the three maximize the function of the zones for plants in the garden .
