Abstract
Daduk merupakan salah satu limbah padat organik tanaman tebu yang belum termanfaatkan secara optimal. Pengomposan daduk secara konvensional memerlukan waktu yang lama dengan kualitas kompos yang relatif rendah. Penggunaan varietas tebu dan aplikasi Trichoderma sp. mampu mempengaruhi laju dekomposisi dan kualitas kompos berbahan dasar daduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh varietas tebu dan konsentrasi Trichoderma sp. terhadap laju dekomposisi dan kualitas kompos berbahan dasar daduk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Penyakit Tumbuhan HPT FP UB, Kebun Percobaan Tebu milik PG. Kebon Agung, Ecogreen Recycling Plaza (ERP) UB, Laboratorium Kimia Tanah Ilmu Tanah FP UB dan Balitkabi pada bulan Maret sampai Juli 2018. Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini meliputi sifat fisik kompos (temperatur, warna, aroma, tekstur kompos, berat akhir), penurunan bobot bahan, laju dekomposisi kompos dan sifat kimia bahan organik sebelum dan sesudah dikomposkan (pH, kadar air, C-Organik, N-total, P, K). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RALF) yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah varietas tebu; PS 864 (V1) dan BL (V2). Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi Trichoderma sp. dengan tiga taraf; 0 mL (K0), 25 mL 1,5 L-1 air (K1) dan 50 mL 1,5 L-1 air (K2). Data sifat fisik, penurunan bobot bahan dan laju dekomposisi kompos dianalisis menggunakan Analysis of Varians (ANOVA). Apabila perlakuan berpengaruh nyata, maka dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan varietas tebu mampu mempengaruhi berat akhir, penurunan bobot dan dekomposisi daduk selama 34 hari. Adapun perlakuan konsentrasi Trichoderma sp. berpengaruh nyata pada tekstur kompos. Daduk hasil dekomposisi Trichoderma sp. mengalami penurunan kandungan C-Organik serta peningkatan kandungan N-total, P dan K. Secara umum, tebu Varietas BL mengalami laju dekomposisi lebih cepat dan dengan aplikasi dekomposer Trichoderma sp. efektif meningkatkan kuaitas kompos berbahan dasar daduk.
English Abstract
Sugarcane leaves waste is one of organic waste from sugarcane which is not used optimally so far. The conventional composting time of sugarcane leaves waste takes so long time with low quality compost producted. The application of sugarcane variety and Trichoderma sp. can effect decomposition rate and the compost quality from sugarcane leaves waste. This research was held in Plant Desease Laboratory HPT of Agriculture Faculty of Brawijaya University, trial plantation of PG Kebon Agung, Ecogreen Recycling Plaza (ERP) UB, Soil Chemical Laboratory Soil Science of Agriculture Faculty of Brawijaya University and Balitkabi on March until July 2018. Parameters monitored in this research were the compost’s physical properties (temperature, colour, odor, texture, final weight), weight lost from the substance, decomposition rate and the chemical properties before and after the decomposting process (pH, water content, C-Organic, N-Total, P, K). This research used random plan with complete factorial (RALF) which was consisted of 2 factors. First factor was the variety of sugarcane; PS 864 (V1) and BL (V2). The second factor was the concentrate of Trichoderma sp. with 3 level; 0 mL (K0), 25 mL 1,5 L-1 water (K1) and 50 mL 1,5 L-1 water (K2). The result of physical properties, substance weight lost and compost’s composting rate were analyzed with Analysis of Varians (ANOVA). If the treatment done affects significantly, the analysis process will be continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) with 95% credibility level. The result of this research showed that sugarcane variety could affect on final weight, substance weight lost and decomposition of sugarcane leaves waste for 34 days. Meanwhile the concentrate of Tricodherma sp. effected significantly on compost’s texture. Sugarcane waste leaves producted from Trichoderma sp. had decretion of C-Organic content level and excalation of N-Total content, P and K. Generally, sugarcane from BL variety had faster decomposition rate and with the application of Trichoderma sp. as decomposer increased effectively the quality of compost from sugarcane leaves waste.
