Abstract
Lahan pekarangan merupakan salah satu sumber potensial penyedia bahan pangan yang bernilai gizi, dapat mengurangi pengeluaran rumah tangga, dan menambah sumber pendapatan. Namun, lahan pekarangan belum banyak dimanfaatkan oleh sebagian besar masyarakat sebagai sumber ekonomi bagi rumah tangga. Potensi lahan pekarangan yang sangat besar bagi tercapainya ketahanan pangan di tingkat rumah tangga, maka pada tahun 2011 Kementerian Pertanian, melalui Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Pertanian telah meluncurkan kegiatan strategis Model Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari (M-KRPL). Kelurahan Arjosari, Kecamatan Blimbing, Kota Malang merupakan salah satu kawasan yang telah menerapkan M-KRPL. Program tersebut merupakan program percobaan yang berada di bawah pendampingan Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) Jawa Timur dengan harapan program yang dijalankan dapat berhasil dan sesuai dengan tujuan dari program M-KRPL. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah 1) Menganalisis efektivitas pelaksanaan program M-KRPL di Kelurahan Arjosari Kecamatan Blimbing Kota Malang, 2) Menganalisis perubahan pendapatan rumah tangga pada peserta program M-KRPL di Kelurahan Arjosari Kecamatan Blimbing Kota Malang, 3) Menganalisis pengaruh motivasi dan minat peserta terhadap keberhasilan program M-KRPL di Kelurahan Arjosari Kecamatan Blimbing Kota Malang. Metode analisis data yaitu analisis deskriptif, analisis efektivitas, uji statistik non parametrik dengan uji Mc Nemar , dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian diperoleh efektivitas program sebesar 78,68 persen, yang berarti bahwa pelaksanaan program M-KRPL cukup efektif dilihat dari indikator efektivitas program M-KRPL. Program M-KRPL telah mampu memberikan kontribusi dalam penambahan pendapatan, dimana sebagian besar pendapatan responden mengalami perubahan setelah mengikuti program M-KRPL. Setelah dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Mc Nemar menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perubahan pendapatan secara signifikan dilihat dari pendapatan sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti program M-KRPL. Motivasi dan minat peserta berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan program Model Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari (M-KRPL) baik secara parsial maupun bersama-sama secara simultan.
English Abstract
Backyard is one potential source providers of nutritional food, can reduce household expenses, and increase revenue sources. However, the yard has not been much considered by most people as an economic resource for the household. Seeing the potential for a very large yard area to the achievement of food security at the household level, in 2011 the Ministry of Agriculture, through the Agency for Agricultural Research and Development has launched a strategic activities that is called as Region Sustainable Food House Model Program (M-KRPL) at Arjosari Sub District, Blimbing District, Malang that become one of the regions that have implemented M-KRPL. The program is a pilot program under the mentoring Institute for Agricultural Technology (BPTP) of East Java in the hope that the program can run successfully and in accordance with the objectives of the program M-KRPL. The purpose of this study is: 1) to analyze the effectiveness of the M-KRPL program at Arjosari Sub District, Blimbing District, Malang, 2) to analyze changes in household income on M-KRPL program participants at Arjosari Sub District, Blimbing District, Malang, 3) to analyze the effects of motivation and interest in the success of the program participants to M-KRPL at Arjosari Sub District, Blimbing District, Malang. The method of data analysis is descriptive analysis, analysis of effectiveness, non-parametric statistical tests with Mc Nemar test, and multiple linear regression analysis. Result showed the effectiveness of the program by 78,68 per cent, which means that the implementation of M-KRPL program is quite effective indicator of the effectiveness of M-KRPL program. M-KRPL program has been able to contribute for additional revenue, where most of the income of the respondents experienced changes after M-KRPL program. Having analyzed using Mc Nemar test shows that the significant changes seen revenue from income before an after participating in the program M-KRPL. Motivation and interest of the participants have a significant effect on the success of Region Sustainable Food House Model Program (M-KRPL) both partially and simultaneously.
