Abstract
Komoditas hortikultura merupakan komoditas yang potensial untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia. Nanas merupakan salah satu sub sektor holtikultura yang memiliki peluang besar untuk dikembangkan, dilihat dari besarnya angka produksi serta tingginya nilai ekspor nanas. Desa Ngancar merupakan salah satu sentra produksi nanas di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Salah satu usaha yang dilakukan untuk pengembangan produksi nanas di Desa Ngancar adalah penggunaan varietas baru smooth cayenne yang memiliki potensi hasil lebih besar daripada varietas nanas queen yang selama ini digunakan petani. Namun minat petani untuk beralih pada varietas nanas smooth cayenne masih kurang, hal inilah yang sangat berpengaruh terhadap berjalannya pengembangan nanas di Desa Ngancar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan pendapatan usahatani nanas varietas smooth cayenne dengan usahatani varietas nanas queen. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memepengaruhi petani menggunakan varietas nanas smooth cayenne di Desa Ngancar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Ngancar, Kecamatan Ngancar, Kabupaten Kediri. Metode penentuan responden dalam penelitian ini adalah metode cluster random sampling, responden dibagi menjadi dua yaitu petani nanas smooth cayenne dan petani nanas queen. Jumlah responden petani nanas smooth cayenne adalah 12 diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode sensus. Responden petani nanas queen adalah 43 responden, diperoleh dengan rumus Slovin. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis biaya, penerimaan dan pendapatan usahatani serta analisis regresi logistik. Berdasarkanhasil penelitian yang dilakukan usahatani nanas smooth cayenne memiliki pendapatan yang lebih rendah dari pendapatan usahatani nanas queen. Pendapatan usahatani nanas smooth cayenne adalah Rp. 8.070.873, sedangkan pendapatan usahatani nanas queen adalah Rp. 40.286.409. Berdasarkan hasil uji beda rata-rata, nilai thitung (1,923)lebih besar dari nilai ttabel (1,796; df=11,494 dengan α = 0,05), hal tersebut berarti pendapatan usahatani nanas smooth cayenne dengan pendapatan usahatani nanas queentidak memiliki perbedaan yang nyata. Faktor yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keputusan petani menggunakan varietas smooth cayenne dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi logistik. Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keputusan petani menggunakan varietas smooth cayenneadalah pendidikan (sig=0,022) yang memiliki hubungan positif dengan keputusan petani menggunakan varietas nanas smooth cayenne,jumlah pembeli (sig=0,040) dan kualitas bibit (sig=0,025) yang meimiliki hubungan negatif dengan keputusan petani menggunakan varietas nanas smooth cayenne.
English Abstract
Horticultural commodities are commodities that are potential to be developed in Indonesia. Pineapple is one of the horticulture sub-sector that has a great chance to be developed seen by the large number of its production and its export value. Ngancar village is one of the pineapple production center in East Java. One of the efforts made for the development of pineapple production in Ngancar is the use of new varieties, smooth cayenne , that has greater yield potential than the queen pineapple variety that has been used by farmers. But the interest of farmers to switch to the smooth cayenne pineapple varieties are lacking, it is this very influential on the developing of pineapple in Ngancar village. This research aims to analyze the ratio of farm income smooth cayenne pineapple varieties with queen varieties. This research also analyzes the factors that bring farmers to use smooth cayenne pineapple varieties in Ngancarvillage. This research was conducted in Ngancar village, Ngancar sub district, Kediri regency. The method to determine the respondents in this study is cluster random sampling, the respondents were divided into two group of respondent, they are the farmers of smooth cayenne pineapple and farmers queen pineapple. The amount smooth cayenne respondents are 12 respondents, that obtained using census method. Respondents of queen pineapple farmers are 43 respondents, obtained by Slovin formula. The data used in this study is primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained by direct interview to the respondents by using a questionnaire. Secondary data were obtained from the office of Desa Ngancar, Ngancar district office, Kediri District Agriculture Office, Central Bureau of Statistics and the literature that supporting the research. The metode of data analyze in this study is using cost, revenue and income analysis And use regresi logistic analaysis. Based of the result of research conducted the income of smooth cayenne pineapplehas a lower than the income of queen pineapple. The income of smooth cayenne pineapple is Rp. 8.070.837, while the income of queen pineapple is Rp40.286.409. basedtheresultof average different test, value of t statistic (1,923) is greater than the value t table (1,796; df = 11, 494 with α = 0.05), it means there is a difference in the smooth cayenne pineapple farm income to farm income pineapple queen . The factor that significanly influence farmer decision to use smooth cayenne varieties analyze by regresi logistic analysis. The factor that influence farmer to use smooth cayenne variety is education (0,022), that has positive relation with decision orfarmers to use smooth cayenne pineapple varieties. The amount of buyer (sig=0,040) and seed quality (sig=0,025) that have negative relation with decision orfarmers to use smooth cayenne pineapple varieties.
