Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi sangatlah pesat, termasuk teknologi akustik yang sangat bermanfaat di bidang pertanian yaitu untuk mendeteksi kematangan buah seperti buah melon, karena buah ini sangat digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Pengukuran tingkat kematangan buah melon ini menggunakan sensor suara yang dikendalikan oleh mikrokontroller ATmega 32 dengan tampilan LCD. Pengukuran ini dilakukan dengan mengukur besaran diameter buah melon, nilai amplitudo dan kecepatan rambat gelombang suara yang melewati daging buah melon Pendeteksian ini menghasilkan tingkat amplitude dan kecepatan perambatan suara yang berbeda beda tergantung dari tingkat kematangan buah melon. Buah melon termasuk kategori matang apabila besarnya presentasi amplitudo yang ditransmisikan 22% sampai 66%, setengah matang 63% sampai 75% dan Mentah 89%

English Abstract

Technological developments are very rapid, including acoustic technology is very useful in agriculture that is to detect fruit maturity like melon fruit, because this fruit is very popular by the people of Indonesia. Measuring the maturity level of melon fruit uses a sound sensor controlled by ATmega 32 microcontroller with LCD display. This measurement is done by measuring the diameter of the melon fruit, the amplitude value and the velocity of the sound wave passing through the melon fruit flesh, This detection results in different levels of amplitude and speed of sound propagation different depending on the maturity level of the melon fruit. Melon fruit belongs to the mature category when the amplitude of the transmitted amplitudes presentation is 22% to 66%, half-baked 63% to 75% and 89%
