Abstract
Jalur sepeda yang berada di area Banjir Kanal Timur (BKT) diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi pengguna sepeda di Jakarta Timur dan sekitarnya, dan dapat membuat masyarakat mau beralih menggunakan moda yang bersifat sustainable ini. Namun, kenyataannya jalur tersebut kini mengalami berbagai pelanggaran fungsinya, seperti masuknya kendaraan bermotor dan adanya pedagang kaki lima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja operasional jalur khusus sepeda. Kinerja operasional jalur khusus sepeda pada penelitian ini didasari oleh geometrik jalur dan perhitungan Bicycle Level of Service. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Geometrik Jalur Khusus Sepeda, Analisis Karakteristik Pesepeda, dan Analisis Bicycle Level Of Service. Hasil akhir dari analisis diketahui bahwa terdapat tiga jenis LoS jalur sepeda yakni Los B, LoS D dan LoS E, dimana hal tersebut berarti lingkungan baik, lingkungan kurang baik dan sangat kurang baik untuk bersepeda. Sebelas segmen rata-rata tergolong masih dalam kondisi yang baik untuk bersepeda dan dua segmen lainnya termasuk dalam lingkungan kurang baik, dan sangat kurang baik untuk bersepeda.
English Abstract
The bicycle lane in Banjir Kanal Timur (BKT) is expected to facilitate bicycle users in East Jakarta and its surroundings, and can make people want to switch to using this sustainable mode. However, the reality is that the route is now experiencing various violations of its functions, such as the entry of motorized vehicles and the presence of street vendors. This study aims to evaluate the operational performance of bicycle lanes. The operational performance of bicycle lanes in this study is based on geometric paths and Bicycle Level of Service calculations. The analysis used in this study was the Geometric Analysis of Bicycle Special Pathways, Analysis of Characteristics of Cyclists, and Analysis of Bicycle Level of Service. The final result of the analysis shows that there are three types of bicycle lane LoS namely Los B, LoS D and LoS E, which means that the environment is good, the environment is not good and very bad for cycling. Eleven segments are classified as still in good condition for cycling and two other segments, including in the environment, are not good enough, and are not very good for cycling.
