Abstract
Agroindustri merupakan suatu usaha yang dapat menciptakan peluang lapangan kerja dan peluang berusaha bagi masyarakat khususnya masyarakat pedesaan. Agroindustri diharapkan dapat menjadi wahana untuk mengatasi kemiskinan karena daya jangkau dan kegiatannya yang sangat luas. Dan tidak kalah pentingnya, agroindustri dapat diselaraskan dengan pembangunan nasional berkelanjutan yang dapat memberikan pengaruh yang sangat besar bagi pencapaian berbagai tujuan pembangunan, seperti mengatasi kemiskinan, peningkatan pemerataan, peningkatan kesempatan kerja, peningkatan kesempatan berusaha, dan pengembangan kegiatan pelestarian lingkungan, sehingga tujuan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan dapat dicapai (Soekartawi, 2000). Salah satu produk yang dapat tumbuh di wilayah nusantara dan telahdiusahakan masyarakat adalah usaha agroindustri minuman sari buah apel.Agroindustri ini mengolah buah apel menjadi minuman yang disebut sari buah apel. Agroindustri minuman sari buah apel mempunyai potensi untuk dikembangkan dan mampu menyerap tenaga kerja dalam jumlah yang cukup banyak yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga pembuat minuman sari buah apel sendiri dan pendapatan masyarakat sekitar. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh koperasi dalam pelaksanaan usaha agroindustri minuman sari buah apel yaitu pada modal yang terbatas, teknologi yang digunakan dalam proses pengolahan dan perlakuan terhadap produk masih sederhana serta jumlah tenaga kerja yang masih sedikit. Hal ini mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian tentang (1) Berapa besar penerimaan dan keuntungan dari usaha agroindustri minuman sari buah apel, (2) Apakah usaha agroindustri minuman sari buah apel layak untuk dikembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menganalisis besarnya biaya, penerimaan dan keuntungan usaha agroindustri minuman sari buah apel, (2) Menganalisis tingkat kelayakan usaha minuman sari buah apel. Kegunaan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Bahan informasi bagi produsen (pemilik usaha) untuk dijadikan pertimbangan dalam melakukan kegiatan usaha agroindustri sari buah apel, (2) Bahan pertimbangan bagi pemerintah untuk mengambil kebijakan dalam rangka pembinaan dan pengembangan usaha agroindustri sari buah apel, (3) Bahan informasi dan referensi bagi peneliti selanjutnya. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja ( purposive ) dengan pertimbangan bahwa Koperasi Usaha Mandiri Lestari Makmur merupakan salah satu lembaga yang mulai mengembangkan usaha agroindustri minuman sari buah apel di Kabupaten Malang. Penentuan responden dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode sensus, yaitu metode penelitian yang datanya di kumpulkan dari seluruh unit populasi yang ada di daerah penelitian. Responden dalam hal ini adalah produsen/pengusaha agroindustri sari apel, pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara yang mendalam kepada produsen/pengusaha sari apel di tempat penelitian. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif meliputi analisis biaya, analisis penerimaan dan keuntungan sertaanalisis kelayakan usaha meliputi R/C rasio dan analisis Break Event Point (BEP). Hasil perhitungan dari penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa total biaya untuk satu kali proses produksi minuman sari buah apel mencapai Rp 5.341 per produksinya, keuntungan yang diperoleh rata-rata mencapai Rp 26.100, sedangkan perhitungan R/C rasio usaha minuman sari buah apel di Koperasi Usaha Mandiri Lestari Makmur menunjukkan angka >1, yaitu sebesar 1,077 dan Break Event Point (BEP unit) didapat nilai sebesar 4 kardus (yaitu 2 kardus kemasan 100 ml dan 2 kardus kemasan 165 ml), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa usaha agroindustri minuman sari buah apel di Koperasi Usaha Mandiri Lestari Makmur layak untuk dikembangkan.
English Abstract
Agroindustry is a business that can create employment opportunities and business opportunity for the public, especially rural communities. Agroindustry is expected to be a vehicle for overcoming poverty because of affordability and its activities are very broad. And no less important, agroindustry can be harmonized with national sustainable development which can give a very big influence for the attainment of development goals, such as overcoming poverty, improving equity, increasing employment opportunities, increase business opportunities, and development of environmental conservation activities, so that development objectives sustainability can be achieved (Soekartawi, 2000). One product that can grow on the archipelago and has cultivated agrobusiness community is the drink of extract apple. This agroindustries to process the apples into the drink of extract apple. Agroindustry the drink of extract apple has the potential to be developed and able to absorb labor in considerable amounts are expected to increase household income as the drink of extract apple itself and the surrounding community income. The problem faced by cooperatives in the implementation of agroindustry enterprises the drink of extract apple that is on a limited capital, technology used in the processing and treatment of the product is stillsimple and the amount of labor is still small. This encourages researchers to conduct research on (1) How much revenue and profit from agribusiness the drink of extract apple, (2) Does the agrobisuness the drink of extrack apple feasible to develop. This study aims to: (1) analyze the cost, revenue and operating profit agroindustry the drink of extract apple, (2) analyze the feasibility level the drink of extract apple. Usefulness in this study were (1) Material information for producers (business owners) to be taken into consideration in conducting business in agroindustry the drink of extract apple, (2) Material considerations for the government to take policy in order to develop agroindustry and business development the drink of extract apple, (3) Material information and references for further research Determining the location of intentional (purposive) with consideration that the Koperasi Usaha Mandiri Lestari Makmur is one institution that started to develop agroindustry business the drink of extract apple in Malang. The respondents were calculated using census, the method of study for which data is gathered from the entire population of existing units in the study area. Respondents in this case is the producer / entrepreneur agroindustry the drink of extract apple, data retrieval is done by an in depth interview to the producers / entrepreneurs the drink of extract apple in place of the research. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis includes analysis of cost, revenue and profit analysis and business feasibility analysis include R / C ratio and analysis Break Event Point (BEP). The results of this study showed that the total cost for a one time production process the drink of extract apple reached Rp 5.341 per production, the benefits would average Rp 26.100, while the calculation of R/C ratio the drink of extract apple beverage business in Koperasi Usaha Mandiri Lestari Makmur show numbers > 1, that is equal to 1.077 and Break Event Point (BEP units) obtained values of 4 cartons (that 2 cardboard packaging of 100 ml and 2 cardboard packaging 165 ml), so it can be concluded that the business of agroindustry the drink of extract apple in Koperasi Usaha Mandiri Lestari Makmur feasible to develop.
