Abstract
Bata ringan merupakan material yang semakin banyak digunakan sebagai penyusun dinding dari suatu bangunan. Seiring perkembangan jaman, bangunan tidak hanya mementingkan nilai kekuatan dari struktur tersebut, akan tetapi nilai keindahan juga dipertimbangkan. Dengan adanya pemasangan keramik pada dinding yang terdiri dari bata ringan akan membuat bangunan tersebut mempunyai nilai keindahan. Untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh dari pemasangan keramik tersebut pada dinding yang terdiri dari bata ringan, maka perlu dilakukan uji tekan dan uji lentur. Benda uji berupa satu bata ringan yang berukuran 60cm x 20cm x 10cm, dimana satu bata ringan dipasang 2 (dua) buah keramik yang berukuran 20cm x 20cm pada satu sisi. Kuat tekan rata-rata bata ringan yang dipasang keramik 2,16 MPa dan kuat tekan rata-rata bata ringan 2,165 MPa. Sehingga kuat tekan rata-rata bata ringan yang dipasang keramik lebih kecil 0,23% dari kuat tekan rata-rata bata ringan. Kuat lentur rata-rata bata ringan yang dipasang keramik 0,59 MPa dan kuat lentur bata ringan 0,658 MPa. Sehingga kuat lentur rata-rata bata ringan yang dipasang keramik lebih kecil 10,33% dari kuat lentur rata-rata bata ringan. Berdasarkan uji statistic, bahwa kuat tekan dan kuat lentur rata-rata antara bata ringan dan bata ringa yang dipasang keramik mempunyai data yang perbedaannya sedikit atau bisa dianggap sama. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa keramik tidak berpengaruh besar pada kekuatan tekan dan lentur pada bata ringan, akan tetapi keramik dapat menyatukan bata ringan ketika bata ringan tersebut ditekan dan mengalami pecah. Perilaku bata ringan ketika diuji tekan mengalami perubahan regangan arah x dan arah z lebih banyak pada saat tegangan rendah. Dan ketika diuji lentur, pada saat beban rendah, perubahan lendutan yang terjadi juga besar. Perilaku bata ringan yang dipasang keramik ketika diuji tekan mengalami perubahan regangan arah x dan z yang lebih kecil dibanding perubahan regangan pada bata ringan ketika tegangan akan mencapai maksimum. Dan ketika diuji lentur, lendutan rata-rata yang terjadi lebih kecil dibanding lendutan rata-rata pada bata ringan. Pada penelitian ini, tidak ada kejadian keramik yang pecah ketika bata ringannya diuji tekan lentur. Akan tetapi, keramik tersebut lepas. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan uji lekatan untuk mengetahui seberapa kuat mortar tersebut melekatkan bata ringan dan keramik.
English Abstract
Lightweight brick is a material that is increasingly used as a constituent of the walls of a building. As the times progress, buildings are not only concerned with the strength of the structure, but the value of beauty is also considered. With the installation of ceramics on the walls consisting of lightweight brick will make the building has a value of beauty. To determine whether or not the effect of ceramic installation on the wall consisting of lightweight brick, it is necessary to do the press test and bending test. The test specimen is a lightweight brick measuring 60cm x 20cm x 10cm, where one lightweight brick is installed 2 (two) pieces of ceramic size 20cm x 20cm on one side. The average compressive strength of lightweight ceramic brick mounted 2.16 MPa and the compressive strength of the average brick 2.165 MPa. So that the average compressive strength of lightweight ceramic brick is smaller than 0.23% of the average compressive strength of lightweight brick. Strong bending average of lightweight brick installed 0.59 MPa ceramic and light brick flexure of 0.658 MPa. So that the average flexural strength of the lightweight ceramic-installed bricks is 10.33% smaller than the average bending strength of the lightweight brick. Based on the statistical test, the compressive strength and the average bending strength between lightweight brick and ceramic-installed bricks have little or little difference of data. It can be concluded that ceramics do not have a big effect on compressive strength and flexure in light bricks, but ceramics can incorporate lightweight bricks when the lightweight bricks are pressed and ruptured. Behavior of lightweight brick when tested the press experience of strain changes x direction and direction z more at low voltage. And when tested is supple, when the load is low, the deflection changes are also large. Behavior of lightweight ceramic-mounted brick when tested is subjected to a smaller x and z zero strain change than the lightweight brick strain when the voltage reaches maximum. And when tested bending, the average deflection that occurs is smaller than the average deflection in the lightweight brick. In this study, no ceramic events were ruptured when the lightweight brick was tested suppressively flexed. However, the tiles are loose. Therefore, it is necessary to test the attachment to find out how strong the mortar is to attach the lightweight brick and ceramic.
