Abstract
Hutan hujan tropis di Indonesia yang terdapat di kawasan Taman Nasional Bukit Duabelas dan Hutan Harapan, Provinsi Jambi hingga saat ini sudah mengalami perubahan tata guna lahan yang menyebabkan rendahnya jenis keanekaragaman hayati didalamnya, terutama serangga. Keberadaan serangga dalam ekosistem dapat dijadikan sebagai indikator keseimbangan. Seperti kepik (heteropteran) yang hidupnya tersebar luas di seluruh dunia. Akan tetapi, informasi mengenai keanekaragaman heteropteran masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keanekaragaman serangga heteropteran pada berbagai tipe penggunaan lahan dan pengaruh tipe penggunaan lahan terhadap keanekaragaman serta komposisi serangga heteropteran di lanskap Taman Nasional Bukit Duabelas (TNBD) dan Hutan Harapan, Jambi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pengendalian Hayati Institut Pertanian Bogor pada bulan Februari hingga Mei 2018, berupa identifikasi spesimen serangga heteropteran. Pengambilan sampel serangga heteropteran dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Oktober 2013 di lanskap TNBD dan Hutan Harapan. Pengambilan sampel lapang dilakukan pada empat tipe penggunaan lahan pada masing-masing lanskap yaitu hutan, hutan karet, perkebunan karet, dan perkebunan sawit. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode pengasapan (fogging) dengan menggunakan insektisida piretroid ke kanopi pohon target. Sampel yang berhasil dikumpulkan kemudian disimpan di laboratorium untuk di identifikasi. Pengaruh tipe penggunaan lahan terhadap keanekaragaman dan kelimpahan heteropteran dilakukan analisis ANOVA dan ANOSIM, serta hubungan kekayaan spesies dan kelimpahan individu heteropteran fitofag dan predator dianalisis menggunakan analisis korelasi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan total heteropteran yang ditemukan pada lanskap TNBD dan Hutan Harapan berjumlah 1959 individu yang termasuk dalam 123 spesies dari 16 famili. Keanekaragaman tertinggi pada kedua lanskap didapatkan pada tipe penggunaan lahan hutan, sedangkan terendah diperoleh pada tipe penggunaan lahan perkebunan karet. Perbedaan tipe penggunaan lahan di lanskap TNBD mempengaruhi kekayaan morfospesies (F3,12=20.16, P<0.0001) dan kelimpahan individu (F3,12=21.06, P<0.0001) heteropteran. Pada lanskap Hutan Harapan tipe penggunaan lahan juga mempengaruhi kekayaan morfospesies (F3,12=5.21, P<0.001), tapi tidak berpengaruh pada kelimpahan individu (F3,12=1.297, P=0.32) heteropteran. Kedua lanskap didominasi oleh famili Reduviidae dan Miridae. Kemiripan komposisi morfospesies tertinggi pada kedua lanskap terdapat pada lahan hutan dan hutan karet, sedangkan terendah terdapat pada lahan hutan dan perkebunan karet. Sebagai kesimpulan bahwa berbagai tipe penggunaan lahan di lanskap TNBD dan Hutan Harapan, Provinsi Jambi, mempengaruhi keanekaragaman heteropteran yang ditemukan.
English Abstract
Tropical rain forests in Indonesia in the areas of Bukit Duabelas National Park and Harapan Forest, Jambi Province, until now have a serious problem about the change using land that have caused low biodiversity types, especially insects. The presence of insects in the ecosystem can be used as an indicator of balance. For example, ladybug (heteropteran) are insects that life widespread in the world. However, information on heteropteran diversity is still limited. Therefore, this study wanted to examine heteropteran insect diversity in various types of land use and the effect of land use types on heteropteran insect diversity and heteropteran composition in the landscape of Bukit Duabelas National Park (BDNP) and Hutan Harapan, Jambi. This research was conducted at the Biological Control Laboratory, Bogor Agricultural Institute from February to May 2018. The research included the identification of heteropteran insects. Heteropteran sampling was collected in May to October 2013 both in the landscape of BDNP and Harapan Forest. Field sampling was taken in four types of land use in each landscapes, i.e forests, rubber forests, rubber plantations, and oil palm plantations. The method of sampling used a fogging with pyrethroid insecticide that applied into the canopy of the target tree. The samples collected, then well stored in the laboratory for identification. The effect of land use types to heteropteran diversity was analyzed using ANOVA and ANOSIM analysis as well as to heteropteran phytophage and predators abundance was analyzed using correlation analysis. The results showed that the diversity of heteropteran found in BDNP and Harapan Forest numeral were 1959 individuals and 123 morphospecies belong to 16 families. The highest diversity in both landscapes was found in the forest, while the lowest diversity was found in the rubber plantation. The different types of land use in the BDNP landscape affected morphospecies richness (F3.12=20.16, P<0.0001) and abundance (F3.12=21.06, P<0.0001) of heteropteran. In the Harapan Forest landscape, land use type also affected morphospecies richness (F3.12=5.21, P<0.001), but it did not affect abundance (F3.12=1.297, P=0.32) of heteropteran. Both landscapes were dominated by Reduviidae and Miridae families. The highest similarity of morphospecies composition both in BDNP and Harapan Forest landscapes were found in forest and rubber forest, while the lowest similarity were in forest and rubber plantations. In conclusion, various types of land use in the landscape of BDNP and Harapan Forest, Jambi Province, affected the diversity of heteropteran was found.
