Abstract

Di muara sungai Bagek Kembar akan dibangun PLTGU Lombok Peaker 130-150 MW yaitu di Desa Batu Layar, Kecamatan Ampenan, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Dalam upaya melindungi dan menjaga kelestarian bangunan PLTGU Lombok Peaker serta menjaga kelestarian DAS Bagek Kembar, dilakukan analisa untuk memprediksi erosi dan sedimentasi pada DAS Bagek Kembar, termasuk di dalamnya jenis tanah dan tata guna lahan. Analisa erosi dan sedimentasi di DAS Bagek Kembar ini menjadi pendekatan hasil besar sedimen yang akan bermuara di muara Sungai Bagek Kembar. Analisa ini akan mengkaji hasil erosi dan sedimentasi di DAS Bagek Kembar dengan menggunakan aplikasi model AVSWAT (Arc View Soil And Water Assessment Tool) 2000. Parameter-parameter dari DAS Bagek Kembar selama 10 tahun akan digunakan untuk menghitung hasil erosi dan sedimentasi pada DAS Bagek Kembar. Hasil erosi setiap subdas dapat digunakan untuk menganalisa besarnya Indeks Bahaya Erosi (IBE) pada setiap subdas. Hasil dari besarnya Indek Bahaya Erosi (IBE) akan digunakan sebagai letak penentuan bangunan pengendali sedimen. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan AVSWAT 2000 mulai tahun 2000 sampai dengan tahun 2009 didapatkan nilai laju erosi rata-rata pada DAS Bagek kembar adalah sebesar 58.48 ton/ha/th dan hasil sedimen rata-rata sebesar 14.96 ton/ha/th atau 1.25 mm/th. Lokasi bangunan pengendali sedimen yang pertama (check dam 1) berada pada hilir subdas 12 dengan nilai IBE sangat tinggi, sedangkan lokasi bangunan pengendali sedimen yang kedua (check dam 2) berada pada hilir subdas 14 dengan nilai IBE sangat tinggi. Volume tampungan check dam 1 adalah sebesar 7783.78 m3 diharapkan dapat mengontrol laju sedimentasi sebesar 124% dari potensi laju sedimentasi normal. Sedangkan volume tampungan check dam 2 adalah sebesar 17142.86 m3 diharapkan dapat mengontrol laju sedimentasi sebesar 243% dari potensi laju sedimentasi normal.

English Abstract

At the estuary of the Bagek Kembar River will be built PLTGU Lombok peaker 130- 150 MW that is in the Village of Batu Layar, Ampenan District, West Lombok Regency, Nusa Tenggara Barat Province. In an effort to protect and maintain the sustainability of the building of PLTGU lombok peaker as well as maintaining the conservation Bagek Kembar’s Watershed, an analysis was conducted to predict the erosion and sedimentation in Bagek Kembar’s Watershed, including the type of soil and land use. Analysis of erosion and sedimentation in the Bagek Kembar’s Watershed into a large yield approach of sediment that will lead to the estuary of the Bagek Kembar River. This analysis will examine the results of erosion and sedimentation in Bagek Kembar’s Watershed by using the application of the model AVSWAT (Arc View Soil and Water Assessment Tool) 2000. The parameters of the Bagek Kembar’s Watershed for 10 years will be used to calculate the erosion and sedimentation results in Bagek Kembar’s Watershed. Erosion results of each sub-watershed can be used to analyze the size of the Indeks Bahaya Erosi (IBE) on each sub-watershed. The result of the size of the Indeks Bahaya Erosi (IBE) will be used as the location of the check dam. Calculation using AVSWAT 2000 from 2000 to 2009 was conducted to obtain the results of the average erosion rate on Bagek Kembar’s Watershed is 58,48 tons / ha / yr and the average sediment yield is 14,96 tons / ha / yr or 1.25 mm / year. The location of the first check dam is located at downstream sub-watershed 10 with the value of IBE very high, whereas the location of the second check dam is located at downstream subwatershed 14 with the value of IBE very high. The volume of the first check dam is 7783.78 m3 and expected to control the sedimentation rate by 124% of the potential of normal sedimentation rate. While the volume of second check dam is 17142.86 m3 and expected to control sedimentation rate by 243% from the potential of normal sedimentation rate.
