Abstract

Penyebaran api dan asap pada bangunan pasar sangat cepat pada saat terjadi kebakaran sehingga diperlukan sirkulasi evakuasi yang dapat mengevakuasi seluruh penghuni pasar dengan waktu yang singkat. Objek penelitian yang diambil adalah bangunan pasar kering pada Pasar Segiri Samarinda karena bangunan pasar kering yang memiliki tingkat pertumbuhan api yang paling tinggi karena banyaknya material – material mudah terbakar seperti kain. Penelitian ini menggunakan program simulasi untuk mengetahui perkembangan asap pada bangunan dan waktu evakuasi penghuni untuk mengetahui permasalahan sirkulasi evakuasi yang terdapat pada bangunan pasar kering kemudian diberikan rekomendasi yang berupa penambahan tangga darurat sebagai jalur sirkulasi evakuasi pada pasar segiri dan signage untuk mempercepat proses evakuasi.

English Abstract

The rapid growth of fire and smoke in markets building in the event of fire cause the need for means of egress that can evacuate all occupant in a short time. The research object used was dry market building in Segiri Market Samarinda that has the highest fire growth caused by combustible material such as clothes. This study used a simulation program to determined the development of smoke in the building and the evacuation time of the occupant and found the problem in the available means of egress. The recommendation given to the building was addition of the emergency stair case and exit signage to accelerated the evacuation time.
