Abstract
Resin komposit merupakan bahan restorasi yang ideal karena sifat mekanik, fisik dan estetik yang baik. Resin komposit nanofilled memiliki rata-rata ukuran filler lebih kecil dibandingkan nanohybrid. Microhardness adalah kemampuan resin komposit menahan goresan atau indentasi pada permukaan. Resin komposit memiliki sifat menyerap air, sehingga konsumsi minuman yang bersifat asam seperti citrus aurantifolia dapat menurunkan nilai microhardness. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan microhardness resin komposit nanofilled dan nanohybrid pada perendaman sari citrus aurantifolia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratoris dengan rancangan penelitian post test only control group design yaitu menggunakan dua jenis resin komposit nano yang terbagi menjadi empat kelompok. Perhitungan didapatkan total 28 sampel berbentuk silinder berdiameter 5 mm dengan tinggi 4 mm. Sampel disimpan dengan suhu 37 °C selama 24 jam sebelum dilakukan perlakuan perendaman sari citrus aurantifolia selama 3 jam. Uji untuk menentukan nilai microhardness dilakukan pada tiap sampel dengan Microhardness Tester ESE-WAY menggunakan indentor Vickers. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata microhardness resin komposit nanohybrid lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan resin komposit nanofilled. Uji t independen didapatkan hasil p = 0,009, hasil tersebut menunjukan p < 0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan microhardness yang bermakna antara resin komposit nanofilled dan nanohybrid pada perendaman sari citrus aurantifolia.
English Abstract
Composite resin restorations is an ideal material for mechanical properties, physical and esthetic. Nanofilled composite resins have an average size of the filler is smaller than nanohybrid. Microhardness is the ability of the composite resin resist scratches or indentation on the surface. Resin composites have properties to absorb water, so consumption of acidic beverages such as citrus aurantifolia juice can decrease the value of microhardness. The purpose of this study to determine microhardness differences of the nanofilled and nanohybrid composite resin soaked in citrus aurantifolia juice. This research was a laboratory experimental research design with post test only control group design that uses two types of nano composite resin were divided into four groups. The total samples are 28 samples in cylindrical shape with diameter of 5 mm and height of 4 mm. Samples were stored at 37 ° C for 24 hours prior to soaking treatment in citrus aurantifolia juice for 3 hours. Test to determine the value of microhardness performed on each sample with ESE-WAY Microhardness Tester using vickers indentors. The results showed the average value of the nanohybrid composite resin microhardness higher than the nanofilled composite resin microhardness. Independent t test showed p = 0.009, these results indicate p <0.05. The conclusion of this research that there is a significant difference between the microhardness of nanofilled and nanohybrid composite resin soaked in citrus aurantifolia juice.
