Abstract
Diabetes mellitus merupakan suatu kelompok penyakit metabolic dengan hiperglikemia yang terjadi karena kelainan sekresi insulin, kerja insulin atau kedua-duanya. Bagi penderita diabetes, dukungan keluarga merupakan hal yang penting dalam menahan efek-efek negatif dari stress. Dukungan keluarga merupakan sikap, tindakan dan penerimaan keluarga terhadap anggotanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat stress pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional, penelitian ini dilakukan pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Poli Penyakit Dalam RS Tk. II dr. Soepraoen Malang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 82 orang. Variable independen (bebas) dalam penelitian ini adalah dukungan keluarga dan Variable dependen (tergantung) dalam penelitian ini adalah tingkat stress. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dengan cara pengisian kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan Spearman Rank Correlation untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variable independen dan dependen, yaitu dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat stress pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Poli Penyakit Dalam RS Tk. II dr. Soepraoen Malang. Berdasarkan analisa Spearman, didapatkan hasil nilai koefisien korelasi (r) -0.816 dengan taraf signifikansi (p=0.000). hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan tingkat stres. Diharapkan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengembangkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti menggunakan metode pengambilan data dengan observasi langsung ke tempat tinggal responden dan menggunakan lebih dari 1 tempat penelitian.
English Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases with hyperglycemia that occurs due to abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action or both. For patient diabetic , family support is essential to resist the negative effects of stress. Family support consists of attitude, action and family acceptance of its members. The purpose of this study is to Identify relationship of family support with stress level in patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus. In this study, researches used a cross-sectional study design. This research was conducted in patient type 2 diabetes mellitus in internal medicine polyclinic of Hospital level 2 dr. Soepraoen Malang. The sample in this study was 82 people. Independent variable in this studi was the family support and dependent variable in this study was the stress level. The data was collected using questionnaires. Data was analyzed using the Spearman Rank Correlation to determine the realitonship between the independent and dependent variables, which family support with level stress in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 in internist polyclinic Hospital level 2 dr. Soepraoen Malang. Based on Sperman analysis, the result obtained correlation coefficient (r) -0.816 with a significance level (p=0.000). These results indicate that there was a significant relationship between family support with stress levels.It is expected for the further researcher to develop research that has been done by researchers using the method of data collection by direct observation to the residence of the respondent and use of more than one place of study.
