Abstract
Stroke disebabkan oleh terganggunya aliran darah ke otak. Orang yang mengalami stroke diantaranya meninggal dan sisanya mengalami disabilitas. Disabilitas yang timbul akibat stroke menyebabkan penderitanya mengalami penurunan kemandirian sehingga memerlukan bantuan orang lain dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan sehari-hari. Keluarga merupakan sumber pendukung pasien ketika ada di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kemandirian pasien paska stroke. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah pasien paska stroke dan kleuarga di Poli Saraf Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Pacitan berjumlah 75 orang. Hasil analisis data uji Spearman diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,810 dengan p = 0,00 (p<0,05). Angka tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara variabel dukungan keluarga dengan kemandirian pasien paska stroke. Hasil penelitian tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kerjasama perawat komunitas dengan keluarga sehingga keluarga memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam merawat anggota keluarga dengan paska stroke di rumah.
English Abstract
Stroke is caused by disruption of blood flow to the brain. People who experience a stroke them died and the rest suffered disabilities. Disabilities resulting from a stroke causes the sufferer decreased independence and require the help of others in fulfilling their daily needs. The family is a source of support when the patient is at home. This study aims to determine the relationship of family support to the independence of post-stroke patients. This study using cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Samples were post-stroke patients and family in Poli Nerves Pacitan District General Hospital were 75 people. The results of the analysis of test data obtained Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.810 with p = 0.00 (p <0.05). The figure shows that there is a strong relationship between the variables of family support to the independence of post-stroke patients. The research result are expected to improve cooperation with the family community nurses so that families have the knowledge and skills in caring for family members with post-stroke at home.
