Uji Potensi Larvasida Dan Pupasida Dekok Daun Kemangi (Ocimum Sanctum) Terhadap Aedes Sp.

Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan disebabkan virus Dengue dan ditularkan melalui nyamuk Aedes. Salah satu upaya pengendalian vektor DBD adalah dengan memutus siklus hidup nyamuk pada stadium larva dan pupa dengan menggunakan insektisida nabati. Daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum) mengandung alkaloid, flavonoid, tannin, saponin, eugenol, triterpenoid, dan minyak atsiri, yang diduga mempunyai potensi sebagai larvasida dan pupasida Aedes sp. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui potensi dekok daun kemangi (Ocimum sanctum.) sebagai larvasida dan pupisida terhadap larva dan pupa Aedes sp serta mengetahui kadar LC50, LC95, LT50, dan LT95. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan 5 kali perlakuan yaitu 35%, 50%, 65%, kontrol positif (abate 1%), dan kontrol negatif (aquades) dengan masing-masing dilakukan pengulangan sebanyak 4 kali pada larva maupun pupa. Interval waktu yang diamati pada larva dan pupa yaitu menit ke-5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 120, 240, 480, 720, 1440. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimental-post test only control group design. Hasil uji Kruskals Wallis menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada jumlah larva maupun pupa Aedes sp yang mati pada kelompok waktu pengamatan dan kelompok konsentrasi (p < 0,05). Hasil Analisis probit didapatkan LC50 sebesar 5,181%, LC95 sebesar 22,390%, LT50 pada menit ke-287,603, LT95 pada menit ke-640,190 pada larvasida dan LC50 sebesar 2,753%, LC95 sebesar 15,202%, LT50 pada menit ke-183,303 , LT95 pada menit ke-453,295 pada pupasida. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan dekok daun kemangi memilki potensi sebagai larvasida maupun pupasida Aedes sp.

English Abstract

Dengue fever is one of the health problems caused by dengue virus and is transmitted by aedes .One of the efforts to control vector dengue fever is to break the life cycle of mosquito in stadium the larva and pupa by using an nabati insecticide. The components of Basil Leaf (Ocimum sanctum) are alkaloid, flavonoid, tannin, saponin, eugenol, triterpenoid, dan oil of atsiri, who should have a potency of larvacide and pupicide Aedes sp. This study aims to examine the potential dekok leaves basil (Ocimum sanctum) as larvasida and pupisida for the larvae and pupa Aedes sp and know LC50, LC95, LT50, and LT95 levels. The research was conducted 5 times treatment that is 35 %, 50 %, 65 %, control positive (abate 1 %), and control negative (aquades) with each performed repetition as many as 4 times on larvae and the pupa. The time interval observed in the larva and pupa at 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 120, 240, 480, 720, 1440 minutes. Methods used is experimental-post test only control group design. Kruskals Wallis test obtained significant value p< 0,05. The results of the probit analysis obtained LC50 of 5,181 % , LC95 of 22,390 %, LT50 of 287,603 minutes, LT95 of 640,190 minutes in larvacide and LC50 of 2,753 %, LC95 of 15,202 %, LT50 of 183,303 minutes, LT95 of 453,295 minutes in pupicide. So that can be concluded dekok basil leaves have the potential as larvacide and pupicide Aedes sp.
