Abstract
Penggunaan insektisida kimiawi merupakan cara efektif, ekonomis, dan efisien, namun menimbulkan dampak negatif seperti meningkatnya residu dan pencemaran lingkungan. Dekok bunga kamboja (Plumeria acuminata) mengandung senyawa eugenol, geraniol, sitronelol dan linalool yang diduga memiliki kemampuan sebagai insektisida. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengamatan true-experimental mengunakan larva dan pupa Aedes sp. Pengulangan pada penelitian ini dilakukan 4 kali dengan interval waktu pada menit ke- 5, ke-15, ke-30, ke-45, dan ke-60. Konsentrasi yang digunakan adalah 15%,25%,35% (larva) dan konsentrasi 25%,35%,45% (pupa). Hasil uji One way Anova larva dan pupa menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara semua konsentrasi dan waktu. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan korelasi positif yang kuat antara potensi dekok bunga kamboja(Plumeria acuminata) dengan interval waktu perlakuan terhadap kematian larva dan pupa. Hasil uji analis probit menunjukkan LC50= 8,077% (larva), 26,791% (pupa), LC95= 29,853% (larva), 57,411% (pupa). LT50= 3,452 menit (larva), 10,984 menit (pupa), LT95= 45,746 menit (larva), 83,369 menit (pupa). Kesimpulannya Dekok bunga kamboja (Plumeria acuminata) lebih efektif untuk membunuh larva dibandingkan dengan pupa.
English Abstract
The use of chemicals insecticide currently is the most effective, economic, and efficient, but may causing negative impact like increasing of residue and environmental pollution. Frangipani Flower (Plumeria acuminata)’s liquid contains eugenol, geraniol, sitronelol, and linalool bonds which is expected to have the ability as an insecticide. This research using true-experimental which is using the larvae and pupa of Aedes sp. The repetition in this research conducted 4 times with the interval time of 5th, 15th, 30th, 45th, 60th minutes. Concentration used in this research are 15%, 25%, 35% (larvae) and 25%, 35%, 45% (pupa). The result One way Anova larvae and pupa showing significant differences between all concentration and time. The result of correlation test showing strong positive correlation between the frangipani flower (Plumeria acuminata)’s liquid potential with the interval time of treatment towards the death of larvae and pupa. The result of probit analysis test showing LC50= 8,077% (larvae), 26,791% (pupa), LC95= 29,853% (larvae), 57,411% (pupa). LT50= 3,452 minutes (larvae), 10,984 minutes (pupa), LT95= 45,746 minutes (larvae), 83,369 minutes (pupa). In conclusion Frangipani flower (Plumeria acuminata) is more effective to kill the larvae compared pupa.
