Abstract
Air kelapa muda kaya akan makronutrien dan mikronutrien yang dapat ber-peran sebagai antihipertensi, antidiabetes, dan memiliki peran dalam melindungi hepar. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk membuktikan pengaruh air kelapa muda terhadap kadar SGOT-SGPT pada tikus yang diinduksi aloksan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian true experimental, post test only, control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan tikus Rattus norvegicus galur Wistar masing-masing 6 ekor untuk setiap kelompoknya. Hewan coba dibagi dalam 4 kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol negatif, kelompok kontrol positif, kelompok positif diabetes di-berikan insulin, dan kelompok positif diabetes dengan pemberian perlakuan air kelapa muda 4mL selama 14 hari. Pada hasil analisis statistik, terdapat kelompok perlakuan air kelapa muda berbeda dengan kelompok K (-) (p = 0,001), kelom-pok K (+) (p = 0,015), kelompok insulin (p = 0,048) pada pemeriksaan kadar SGOT, dan juga berbeda dengan kelompok K (-) (p = 0,006), kelompok K (+) (p = 0,001) pada pemeriksaan kadar SGPT. Pada analisis statistik pemeriksaan kadar SGPT juga menunjukkan perbedaan antara kelompok K (+) dengan kelompok insulin (p = 0,046). Perbedaan tersebut disebabkan oleh peningkatan kadar SGOT dan SGPT kelompok air kelapa yang terlalu tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok lain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini, dosis air kelapa muda 4mL belum dapat mempengaruhi penurunan kadar SGOT SGPT.
English Abstract
Coconut water is rich of macronutrient and micronutrient which act as anti-hypertention, antidiabetics, and have a role in liver protection. The objective of this research was to prove affect SGOT-SGPT level on rat induced by alloxan. This research was a true experimental research, post test only, control group de-sign. This research used wistar strain rats (Rattus norvegicus) with 6 rats on each group. Experimental animals were divided into 4 groups: negative control group, positive control group, diabetic positive group which was given insulin, and diabetic positive group which was given treatment of 4 mL coconut water in 14 days. The result showed that there were difference between coconut water group and the other group (K (-) (p = 0,001), K (+) (p = 0,015), insulin (p = 0,048) in SGOT levels and K (-) (p = 0,006), K (+) (p = 0,001) in SGPT levels. The result also showed that there was a difference between K (+) and insulin group (p = 0,048) in SGPT levels. That difference was caused by SGOT and SGPT levels in coconut water group increased higher than the others. The conclusion of this study was 4mL coconut water still couldnt affect in lowering SGOT and SGPT levels.
