Abstract
Ilmu odontologi forensik menggunakan gigi sebagai alat untuk identifikasi korban. Ukuran gigi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah etnis. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan tinggi dan lebar mahkota gigi insisivus sentral (golden rectangle) terhadap golden proportion pada Etnis Jawa dan Tionghoa di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan 60 gigi insisivus sentral dalam soft file foto yang diperoleh dari mahasiswa Etnis Jawa dan Tionghoa di FKUB yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Soft file foto digunakan untuk mengukur tinggi dan lebar mahkota gigi insisivus sentral menggunakan software adobe photoshop CS 5. Dari pengukuran, diperoleh rerata lebar, tinggi, golden rectangle, dan perbandingan golden rectangle terhadap golden proportion mahkota gigi insisivus sentral perempuan Etnis Jawa dan Tionghoa adalah 1,63 cm, 0,97 cm, 1:1,683, 0,066 dan 1,62 cm, 0,94 cm, 1:1,711, 0,093. Rerata lebar, tinggi, golden rectangle, dan perbandingan golden rectangle terhadap golden proportion mahkota gigi insisivus laki-laki Etnis Jawa dan Tionghoa adalah 1,64 cm, 1,02 cm, 1:1,627, 0,009 dan 1,63 cm, 0,78 cm, 1:1,680, 0,062. Uji T-test Independen menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini, tidak terdapat perbedaan lebar, tinggi, golden rectangle dan perbandingan golden rectangle terhadap golden proportion mahkota gigi insisivus sentral yang signifikan antara laki-laki dan perempuan Etnis Jawa dan Tionghoa.
English Abstract
Forensic odontology science, uses tooth as the tool for identification of victims. Tooth size is influenced by several factors, one of which is ethnicity. The research objective was to determine height and width difference of the crown of central incisor (golden rectangle) to the golden proportion in Javanese and Chinese in Malang. This study uses 60 central incisor in a soft file photo obtained from Javanese and Chinese students in FKUB who met the inclusion criteria. image Soft files were used to measure the height and width of the central incisor crown using the software Adobe Photoshop CS 5. From the measurements, obtained the mean width, height, golden rectangle, golden rectangle and the golden ratio proportion of central incisor crown of Javanese and Chinese women are 1.63 cm, 0.97 cm, 1:1.683, 0.066 and 1.62 cm, 0.94 cm, 1:1.711, 0.093. The mean width, height, golden rectangle, golden rectangle and the golden ratio proportion of central incisor crown of Javanese and Chinese male are 1.64 cm, 1.02 cm, 1:1.627, 0.009 and 1.63 cm, 0.78 cm, 1:1.680, 0.062. Independent T-test show the value of significance is (p> 0.05). The conclusion of this study, there are no significant differences in width, height, golden rectangle and golden ratio rectangle to the golden proportion in central incisor crown between male and female Javanese and Chinese.
