Abstract
Pemberian ASI eksklusif dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya adalah dengan Inisiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD). Dengan IMD ini diharapkan dapat mendukung keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara IMD terhadap keberhasilan pemberian ASI ekslusif di desa di Desa Kerkep Kecamatan Gurah Kabupaten Kediri. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah case control. Total sampel adalah 32 responden yang dibedakan menjadi 2 kelompok, yakni kelompok ibu yang berhasil memberikan ASI secara eksklusif (n=16) dan kelompok ibu yang tidak berhasil memberikan ASI secara eksklusif (n=16). Sampel per kelompok diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara, baru setelah itu semua sampel diberikan kuesioner yang sama mengenai IMD. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji chi square. Hasil Penghitungan diperoleh P-Value=0,001 atau <0,05 maka H1 diterima yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara IMD dengan keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Selain itu diperoleh nilai Odds ratio sebesar 13,000 yang berarti, ibu yang memiliki riwayat IMD memiliki kecenderungan untuk berhasil memberikan ASI eksklusif sebesar 13 kali lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ibu yang tidak memiliki riwayat IMD. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ibu yang melaksanakan IMD akan lebih berhasil dalam memberikan ASI secara Eksklusif.
English Abstract
The prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding (6 months) in Indonesia is still very low. Exclusive breastfeeding can be influenced by several factors, the one of it is with Early Initiation of Breastfeeding. With Early Initiation of Breastfeeding is expected to support the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study is to determine whether, is there a relationship between Early Initiation of Breastfeeding to the successful of Exclusive Breastfeeding in the Kerkep Village Gurah District of Kediri Regency. The method that used in this research was case control. Total sample were 32 respondents who were divided into 2 groups, ie group with mother who gave her baby with Exclusive Breastfeeding (n=16) and group of mothers who didn’t gave her baby with Exclusive Breastfeeding (n=16). Samples per group was obtained based on the results of interviews, and after that all samples are given the same questionnaire about Early Initiation of Breastfeeding. Data analysis was performed with chi square test. Calculation results was obtained P-Value=0.001 or <0.05, then H1 accepted, which means there is a relationship between Early Initiation of Breastfeeding with the successful of exclusive breastfeeding. And also obtained the value Odds ratio of 13,000 which means, mothers who have a history of Early Initiation of Breastfeeding has a tendency to be successful of exclusive breastfeeding 13 times greater than mothers who don’t have a history of Early Initiation of Breastfeeding. It can be concluded that mothers who did Early Initiation of Breastfeeding will be more successful in providing Exclusive Breastfeeding.
