Abstract
Hipertensi menjadi penyebab 45% kematian karena penyakit jantung dan 51% kematian karena stroke. Joint National Committee on Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of Hypertension menyebutkan salah satu penatalaksanaan non farmakologi adalah dengan penurunan asupan natrium. Pada umumnya, kebanyakan jenis natrium adalah berupa natrium clorida atau disebut dengan garam Nacl. Banyaknya kasus hipertensi yang ada di masyarakat membuat produsen garam mencoba untuk menciptakan garam rendah natrium yang diberi nama Garam Lososa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan diet rendah dengan pemilihan garam dapur pada pasien hipertensi. Desain penelitian ini adalah observasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sebanyak 192 responden diambil secara purposive sampling diantara seluruh pasien hipertensi yang menjalani rawat jalan di Poli Jantung Rumah Sakit dr.Saiful Anwar Malang. Pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara terstruktur menggunakan kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square dengan program SPSS 20 for Windows. Berdasarkan data yang didapat, tingkat kepatuhan diet rendah garam pada pasien hipertensi di Poli Jantung Rumah Sakit dr.Saiful Anwar Malang adalah sebesar 55% patuh diet, dan sebanyak 17% responden memilih menggunakan garam Lososa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan data tidak ada hubungan antara kepatuhan diet rendah garam terhadap pemilihan garam dapur pasien hipertensi, berdasarkan hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.057 (p>0.05). Terdapat hubungan antara jenis kelamin terhadap kepatuhan diet rendah garam. Tidak ada hubungan antara usia dan tekanan darah baik sistol maupun diastol terhadap kepatuhan diet rendah garam. Disarankan untuk tenaga kesehatan dalam memberikan edukasi lebih terperinci agar target kepatuhan terapi pasien dapat tercapai seperti yang diharapkan.
English Abstract
Hypertension cause 45% of deaths due to heart disease and 51% of deaths due to stroke. Joint National Committee on Detection, Evaluation, and Treatment of Hypertension mentioned that one of the non-pharmacological management is decrease sodium intake. Generally, the most types of sodium is sodium chloride or is called salt. Many cases of hipertension in the community make manufacturer of salt tried to created low-sodium salt was named Lososa. This study aim to determine the relationship between adherence of low salt dietary performance to election of salt towards hipertensive patients. The study design was observational with cross sectional approach. As many as 192 respondents were taken by purposive sampling among all hypertensive patients undergoing outpatient treatment in cardiovascular outpatient clinic of dr.Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang. The data were colected by structured interview using questionnaire. Chi-Square Test was applied to this study using SPSS 20 Programs for Window. Based on data, the level of compliance of low-salt diet in hipertensive patients in Cardiovascular Outpatient Clinic of dr.Saiful Anwar Hospital Malang is 55% obedient to the salt dietary performance, and 17% of respondents chose to use Lososa. The result showed there were not relationship between adherence of low salt dietary performance to election of salt towards hipertensive patients, based on the result of this analyzed found significant value of 0.057 (p>0.05). There is relationship between gender to the low salt dietary. There were not relationship between ages and both of sistolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure to the low salt dietary. We suggest for health care provider to give more detailed information about salt dietary in order to effectiveness of treatment can be reached.
