Abstract
Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan makanan sekaligus minuman dengan komposisi sempurna bagi bayi untuk mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang optimal. Air Susu Ibu memiliki banyak manfaat dalam berbagai aspek serta mampu menurunkan angka kesakitan dan kematian bayi. Data Dinas Kesehatan Kota Malang menunjukkan bahwa proporsi pola menyusui eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ciptomulyo hanya 57,2% dan belum memenuhi target pemerintah yakni 80%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan suami dan status pekerjaan ibu terhadap pola menyusui bayi usia 0-3 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Ciptomulyo Kota Malang. Penelitian survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dengan jumlah 64 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Analisis hasil penelitian menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setengah ibu (50%) mendapat dukungan suami baik, dan setengahnya mendapat dukungan kurang, sebagian besar ibu (68.8%) tidak bekerja, dan hampir setengah ibu (42.2%) menyusui predominan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh dukungan suami terhadap pola menyusui bayi usia 0-3 bulan (p value = 0.004), nilai koefisien korelasi sedang (0.413). Semakin banyak ibu yang mendapat dukungan suami, maka semakin banyak ibu yang memiliki pola menyusui eksklusif. Selain itu, hasil analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh status pekerjaan ibu terhadap pola menyusui bayi usia 0-3 bulan (p value = 0.000), nilai koefisien korelasi sedang (-0.432). Artinya, ibu bekerja akan semakin kecil kemungkinannya untuk memiliki pola menyusui eksklusif.
English Abstract
Breast milk is the only food and drink with perfect composition for infant to supports the growth and development optimally. Breast milk provides many benefit in various aspects, also be able to reduce infant morbidity and mortality rate. Data of Malang City Health Departement shows that the proportion of exclusive breastfeeding in Primary Health Care Ciptomulyo only 57.2% and below the target of government which is 80%. The study aims to determine influence of husband support and mother’s job status toward breastfeeding pattern of infant aged 0-3 months in the working area of Primary Health Care Ciptomulyo, Malang. This study use analitic survey with cross sectional approach. Total sample is 64 respondents which selected by purposive sampling method. Data collected by questionnaire. The obtained data were analyzed by using Chi Square test. Data shows that half of mothers (50%) have good husband support, and half of them had less husband support, most of mothers (68.8%) were not working, and almost half of mothers (42.2%) were predominantly breastfeeding. The result of statistically test shows that husband support influence breastfeeding pattern of infant aged 0-3 months (p value = 0.004), have moderate correlation coefficient value (0.413). It can be conclude that the more mothers get husband support, the more mothers has exclusive breastfeeding pattern. Result also shows that mother’s job status influence breastfeeding pattern of infant aged 0-3 months (p value = 0.000), have moderate correlation coefficient value (-0.432). It means working mother has less probability to have exclusive breastfeeding pattern.
