Abstract
Lanjut usia (lansia) adalah seseorang apabila memiliki usia 45 tahun ke atas. Salah satu tugas perkembangan lansia yaitu menyesuaikan diri terhadap penurunan pendapatan. Pendapatan lansia digunakan untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari misalnya membeli makanan yang bergizi, rumah yang layak, dan pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan kualitas hidup lansia yang memiliki pendapatan pribadi dengan lansia yang tidak memiliki pendapatan pribadi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripsi analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan “Cross Sectional”. Sampel dipilih dengan cara cara purposive sampling yang sesuai dengan kriteri inklusi, yaitu lansia yang memiliki pendapatan pribadi (n=29) dan lansia yang tidak memiliki pendapatan pribadi (n=29). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada perbedaan kualitas hidup lansia yang memiliki dengan lansia yang tidak memiliki pendapatan pribadi dengan hasil uji Mann-Whitney sebesar 25 dan nilai W sebesar 460. Apabila dikonversikan ke nilai Z maka hasilnya -6,157. Nilai signifikan atau p-value 0,000 ≤0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan kualitas hidup lansia yang memiliki pendapatan pribadi dengan lansia yang tidak memiliki pendapatan pribadi. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diharapkan peran dari keluarga dan pemerintah untuk menyejahterakan hidup lansia sehingga meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia.
English Abstract
Elderly is a person has 45 years old and over. Elderly developmental task is to adjust to the decline in revenue. Income elderly is used for daily needs such as buying nutritious food, decent housing, and health care. This study aims to look at the difference in quality of life of elderly people who have a personal income to the elderly who do not have personal income. Design study is an analytic description of the correlation with the approach of "cross-sectional". Samples were selected by purposive sampling in accordance with the inclusion criteria, namely the elderly who have a personal income (n = 29) and the elderly who have not personal income (n = 29). The results showed difference in the quality of life of elderly who have the elderly who have no personal income with the Mann-Whitney test result by 25 and the value of W at 460. If the value is converted to Z then the result is -6.157. Significant value or p-value 0.000 ≤0,05. The conclusion of this study quality of life elderly who have and have not personal income is defferent. Based on this study expected role of family and government for the welfare of the elderly living thus improving the quality of life of the elderly.
