Abstract

Gagal ginjal kronis yang diderita seseorang mempengaruhi persepsi pasien terhadap penyakit dan kualitas hidup. Jika persepsi pasien negatif maka kualitas hidupnya akan rendah dan jika persepsi pasien positif maka kualitas hidupnya akan tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan persepsi sakit dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien gagal ginjal kronis yang menjalani terapi hemodialisa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode cross sectional dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan 30 pasien. Variabel persepsi sakit diukur menggunakan kuesioner IPQ-R (Revised-Illness Perceptions Questionnaire) dan variabel kualitas hidup diukur menggunakan KDQOL SF (Kidney Disease Quality of Life. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dengan p=0.001<0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan atau korelasi yang positif atau searah dan bermakna antara persepsi sakit dengan kualitas hidup dengan nilai 0,588. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, keluarga dan tenaga kesehatan khususnya perawat dialisis perlu mengontrol perubahan psikologis pasien selain perubahan fisik. Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pasien, tenaga kesehatan dapat memberikan edukasi ke pasien dan keluarga. Bagi pasien diharapkan dapat mengontrol persepsi terhadap kesehatannya agar kualitas hidupnya tetap baik.

English Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease can affect illness perceptions and their quality of life. If it is negative, the quality of life will be low and if positive, the quality of life will be high. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of illness perception and quality of life in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis therapy. The research design used correlational approach to cross sectional method and sampling was using purposive sampling to obtain the 30 respondents. Illness perceptions variables were measured using a questionnaire IPQ-R (Revised Illness Perception Questionnaire-) and the variable quality of life was measured using the SF KDQOL (Kidney Disease Quality of Life. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation test with (p=0.001<0,05). The results showed there was a positive correlation or direction and meaning between illness perceptions and quality of life with the value of 0.588. Based on the research, both family and health professionals especially dialysis nurses need to control psychological changes besides of physical. To improve the knowledge of patients, nurses can be educate the patients and family. To patients are expected to control the perceptions of their quality of life in order to their health stay well.
