Abstract

Ekstraksi Gigi Dapat Menimbulkan Luka Dan Asap Rokok Yang Dihirup Dapat Menyebabkan Penyembuhan Luka Melambat Karena Keberadaan Radikal Bebas. Daun Kemangi Dapat Mengikat Radikal Bebas Dan Mempercepat Penyembuhan Luka Dengan Kandungan Saponin, Tannin Dan Flavonoid. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Mengetahui Efek Ekstrak Daun Kemangi Terhadap Peningkatan Jumlah Angiogenesis Soket Pasca Ekstraksi Gigi Tikus Yang Dipapar Asap Rokok. Tikus Dibagi 6 Kelompok, Kelompok Kontrol Negatif Dan Positif (Dipapar Asap Rokok 15 Menit/Hari Selama 14 Hari), Serta 4 Kelompok Perlakuan (Dipapar Asap Rokok 15 Menit/Hari Selama 14 Hari, Diberi Ekstrak Dosis 800/Mg/Kgbb/Hari Dan 1600mg/Kgbb/Hari Dengan Kelompok 3 Dan 4 Tetap Dipapar Asap Rokok Selama Hari Pemberian Ekstrak). Insisivus Kiri Bawah Dicabut Lalu Diberikan Perlakuan Sesuai Kelompok. Tikus Dibedah Hari Ke 22. Pembuluh Darah Dihitung Pada Preparat Dengan Perwarnaan He, Diamati Dengan Perbesaran 100x. Hasil Didapatkan Jumlah Angiogenesis Yang Berbeda Nyata Antara Kelompok Perlakuan Dengan Kelompok Kontrol Positif (P<0,05) Dengan Rerata Kelompok Kontrol Negatif 5,4; Kontrol Positif 3,9; Perlakuan Dosis 800mg/Kgbb 7,65; Perlakuan Dosis 1600mg/Kgbb 10,3; Perlakuan Dosis 800mg/Kgbb + Paparan Asap Rokok 5,5; Perlakuan Dosis 1600mg/Kgbb + Paparan Asap Rokok 6,15. Kesimpulannya Ekstrak Daun Kemangi Mampu Meningkatkan Jumlah Angiogenesis Soket Pada Hari Ke 7 Pasca Ekstraksi Gigi Tikus Yang Dipapar Asap Rokok, Dengan Dosis Optimal 1600mg/Kgbb

English Abstract

Tooth Extraction Could Cause Wound And Inhaled Cigarette Smoke Slow Wound Healing Due To The Presence Of Free Radicals. Tulsi Leaf Is Known To Scavenge Free Radicals And Accelerate Wound Healing With Saponins, Tannins And Flavonoids. This Study Aimed To Determine The Effect Of Tulsi Leaf Extract On Increasing Post Extraction Tooth Socket’s Angiogenesis Number Of Cigarette Smoke Exposed Rats (Rattus Norvegicus). Rats Divided Into 6 Groups, Negative And Positive (Smoke-Exposed 15 Minutes/Day For 14 Days) Controls, And 4 Treatment Groups (Smoke-Exposed 15 Minutes/Day For 14 Days, Extract Given With Dosage Of 800mg/Kgbw/Day And 1600mg/Kgbw/Day, Group 3 And 4 Remain Exposed For Given Day Of Extract). Lower Left Incisor Extracted Proceeded With Appropriate Treatment In Groups. Surgery On Rats By Day 22. The Angiogenesis Are Calculated On Staining Preparations With He, Observed With 100x Magnification. Results Shown Significantly Different Number Of Angiogenesis Between The Group Treated With The Positive Control Group (P <0.05) With A Mean Negative Control Group 5.4; Positive Control 3.9; Dosage Of 800mg/Kgbw Of 7.65; Dosage Of 1600mg/Kgbw 10.3; Dosage Of 800 Mg/Kgbw + Exposure To Cigarette Smoke 5.5; Dosage Of 1600 Mg/Kgbw + Exposure To Cigarette Smoke 6.15. In Conclusion Tulsi Leaf Extract Is Able To Increase Angiogenesis Number Of Rats In 7 Days Post Extraction Tooth Socket Exposed By Cigarette Smoke, With An Optimal Dosage Of 1600mg/Kgbw.
