Abstract
PT Cool Clean merupakan industri manufaktur make to order dimana tissue botol diproduksi sesuai dengan pesanan konsumen. Jumlah permintaan produk yang terus berfluktuasi setiap tahun menyebabkan PT Cool Clean mengalami ketidakmampuan dalam memenuhi permintaan konsumen di 8 periode selama tahun 2017. Target dan realisasi produksi PT Cool Clean ke depan sangat ditentukan oleh ketepatan PT Cool Clean dalam menghitung fasilitas kapasitas produksi yang dimiliki. PT Cool Clean pada bulan Maret 2017 hanya mampu memproduksi tissue botol sebanyak 46.258.270 pcs, sedangkan jumlah permintaan tissue botol pada bulan Maret 2017 sebanyak 48.559.700 pcs. Maka jumlah realisasi produksi per bulan sudah pasti tidak memenuhi permintaan dari pelanggan. Kekurangan jumlah produk tissue botol tersebut berdampak pada keterlambatan pengiriman pesanan dimana akan meningkatkan risiko perusahaan terkena penalty apabila pesanan produk tidak dikirimkan sesuai dengan perjanjian pembelian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan kapasitas produksi dan perbandingan kebutuhan kapasitas sesuai target 2018 dengan kapasitas yang tersedia pada produksi tissue botol serta untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah yang harus diambil untuk mengantisipasi kekurangan kapasitas produksi tissue botol di PT Cool Clean. Perhitungan diawali dengan melakukan pengukuran kerja menggunakan Stopwatch Time Study. Selanjutnya perhitungan waktu standar pada proses produksi tissue botol dimulai dengan menyusun elemen kerja dan kemudian menetapkan nilai kelonggaran berdasarkan rekomendasi ILO (International Labour of Organization), sedangkan dalam menentukan nilai Performance Rating menggunakan Westinghouse’s. Dilanjutkan menghitung kapasitas yang tersedia saat ini dan kapasitas yang dibutuhkan dengan metode CRP (Capacity Requirements Planning). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan CRP pada proses produksi tissue botol terdapat elemen kerja yang masih mengalami kekurangan kapasitas yaitu pada pemotongan gulungan kemasan menjadi satu per satu kemasan. Terdapat 4 usulan Strategi yang digunakan sebagai pemenuhan kekurangan kapasitas tissue botol pada tahun 2018 yaitu dengan penambahan jam lembur atau over time, extra day, revisi Material Requirements Planning (MRP), dan revisi Material Requirements Planning (MRP) + over time. Usulan Strategi yang dipilih untuk memenuhi kekurangan kapasitas adalah Usulan Strategi 4 yaitu dengan revisi Material Requirements Planning (MRP) + overtime atau jam lembur, dikarenakan pada Usulan Strategi 4 beban produksi yang diterima oleh mesin dan pekerja adalah rata dari bulan Januari sampai dengan Desember selain itu apabila dibandingkan dengan Usulan Strategi lainnya, Usulan Strategi 4 membutuhkan biaya lembur yang lebih murah yaitu sebesar Rp 145.687.500,- dalam satu tahun.
English Abstract
PT Cool Clean is a manufacturing to make to order industry where bottle tissues are manufactured in accordance with consumer orders. The number of product demand that continues to fluctuate every year causes PT Cool Clean to experience inability to meet consumer demand in 8 periods during 2017. The target and realization of PT Cool Clean's future production is determined by the accuracy of PT Cool Clean in calculating its production capacity facility. PT Cool Clean in March 2017 was only able to produce 46.258.270 pcs bottle tissue, while the number of bottle tissue demand in March 2017 was 48.559.700 pcs. The amount of production realization per month is definitely not meet the demand from customers. The lack of bottled tissue results in delayed delivery of orders which increases the risk of the company being penalized if the product order is not delivered in accordance with the purchase agreement. The purpose of this study is to know the requirement of production capacity and the comparison of capacity requirement according to target of 2018 with capacity available in bottle tissue production and to know the steps to be taken to anticipate the shortage of bottle tissue production capacity at PT Cool Clean. Calculation begins by doing work measurement using Stopwatch Time Study. Furthermore, the standard timing of the bottle tissue production process begins with the preparation of work elements and then set the allowance value based on the recommendation of ILO (International Labor Organization), while in determining the value of Performance Rating using Westinghouse's, continued to calculate the current available capacity and capacity required by CRP (Capacity Requirements Planning). Based on the result of calculation CRP on bottle tissue production process there are work elements that still experience the lack of capacity that is on the cutting of the packaging rolls into one by one packaging. There are 4 proposed strategies are used to fulfill the shortage of bottle tissue capacity by 2018 by adding overtime, extra day, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) revision, and revision of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) + over time. Proposed strategy chosen to meet the capacity shortage is Proposed Strategy 4 that is with the revision of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) + overtime or overtime, due to Proposed Strategy 4 production burden received by machine and worker is flat from January to December beside that when compared with other Strategy Proposals, Proposed Strategy 4 requires cheaper overtime costs of Rp 145.687.500, - in one year.
