Abstract

Pekerja kesehatan rumah sakit yang terbanyak adalah perawat yang berjumlah sekitar 60% dari tenaga kesehatan yang ada di rumah sakit. Sehingga berisiko memiliki beban kerja berlebih yang bisa berdampak timbulnya stres kerja. Tenaga perawat didominasi oleh wanita yang secara otomatis mengalami peran ganda yaitu bertanggung jawab terhadap pekerjaan dan keluarganya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan beban kerja dan konflik peran ganda dengan stres kerja perawat wanita di Instalasi Rawat Inap (IRNA) RS dr. Soepraoen Kota Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan cross sectional study dan metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah perawat wanita di instalasi rawat inap yang berjumlah 35 responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat korelasi positif antara beban kerja dengan stres kerja perawat wanita di IRNA RS dr. Soepraoen dengan nilai r = 0,600 dan p value = 0,000; (2) terdapat korelasi positif antara konflik peran ganda dengan stres kerja perawat wanita di IRNA RS dr. Soepraoen dengan nilai r = 0,427 dan p value = 0,010. Jadi kesimpulannya, semakin meningkat beban kerja dan konflik peran ganda seorang perawat, maka stres kerjanya juga meningkat. Saran bagi rumah sakit perlunya meningkatkan manajemen ketenagaan, sehingga tidak terjadi beban kerja berlebih yang bisa berdampak timbulnya stres kerja pada perawat. Dan perawat juga harus mampu manajemen waktu antara waktu pekerjaan dengan waktu bersama keluarga.

English Abstract

The most health workers in hospitals were nurses who numbered about 60% of health workers in hospitals. So, nurses were considered as a risk profession with high levels of workload which could affect the incidence of job stress. Moreover, nurses were dominated by female nurses who automatically have dual role who took responsible for their job and their family. The purpose of this study is determine the relationship of the workload and the work-family conflict with job stress in female nurse at Inpatient Unit dr. Soepraoen Malang. This study assessed cross-sectional study and used purposive sampling methods. Sample of 35 female nurses who served in inpatient unit. Data were analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation test.The results showed that (1) there is a positive correlation between workload with job stress in female nurses at Inpatient Unit dr. Soepraoen with r = 0.600 and p value = 0.000; (2) there is a positive correlation between the work-family conflict with occupational stress female nurse in dr. Soepraoen with r = 0.427 and p value = 0.010. So in conclusion, the increasing of workload and work-family conflict of a female nurse,it make the job stress also increased. The results suggest that an approve nursing management strategy is needed to decreased work overload which could affect the incidence of occupational stress in nurses. In particular, time management should be restructured between work time and family time to reduce work overload
