Abstract
DM tipe 2 merupakan penyakit metabolik kronis yang terjadi akibat penurunan sensitivitas insulin terhadap glukosa (resistensi insulin) sehingga mengakibatkan peningkatan kadar gula darah (hiperglikemi). Dukungan dari keluarga sangat diperlukan dalam menjalani pengobatan. Dukungan keluarga yang kurang pada pasien DM tipe 2 menyebabkan rendahnya efikasi diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan keluarga terhadap efikasi diri pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Tk.II dr. Soepraoen Malang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 39 responden. Intrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar kuesioner untuk mengukur dukungan keluarga dan efikasi diri (self-efficacy). Hasil uji korelasi Spearman Rank test menunjukan bahwa nilai p-value sebesar 0,000 dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0.681 yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat dengan korelasi positif, artinya semakin baik dukungan keluarga maka efikasi diri yang dimiliki semakin tinggi. Sehingga kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hunbungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan efikasi diri pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam Rumah Sakit Tk.II dr. Soepraoen Malang. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disarankan agar perawat dapat memberdayakan keluarga agar senantiasa memberikan dukungan pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri pasien diabetes mellitus tipe 2.
English Abstract
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a metabolic chronic disease may occurs due to a decreased insulin sensitivity to glucose (insulin resistance), resulting to increased in blood sugar levels (hyperglycemia). Family support is needed in treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Lack of family support in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus cause a decrease self-efficacy. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship betweenfamily support with self-efficacy of patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus in internal medicine polyclinic dr. Soepraoen Hospital in Malang. The research designed as Descriptive Analytic Correlation with cross sectional approach. Sample was taken by using purposive sampling with the total sample are 39 respondents. Data was collected using questionare sheets to measure family support and self-efficacy. The result of Spearman Rank correlation test showed that p-value is 0,000 with a correlation coefficient (r) is 0,681 or have a strong relationship with positive correlation, it mean that the better family support will improve the self-efficacy. So the conclusions there was a relationship between family support with self-efficacy of patient type 2 diabetes mellitus in internal medicine polyclinic dr. Soepraoen Hospital in Malang. This study recomended that nurse would be able to empower family in order to continuously giving support to patient type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve the self efficacy of patients with type 2 diabetes
