Abstract
Imunisasi merupakan salah satu program yang bertujuan untuk menurunkan Angka Kematian Anak. Imunisasi telah mencegah 2-3 juta kematian anak di dunia setiap tahunnya. Namun demikian masih terdapat 22,6 juta anak di dunia tidak terjangkau imunisasi rutin. Di indonesia, cakupan imunisasi dasar secara nasional masih jauh dari target yang ingin dicapai. Lebih dari 13% anak belum mendapatkan imunisasi secara lengkap karena berbagai sebab, padahal imunisasi lengkap dapat melindungi anak dari wabah, kecacatan dan kematian. Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi pemberian imunisasi dasar lengkap termasuk salah satunya adalah pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang imunisasi terutama reaksi vaksinasi yang mungkin bisa terjadi pada anak setelah diimunisasi disebut dengan Kejadian Ikutan Pasca imunisasi (KIPI). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang Kejadian Ikutan Pasca Imunisasi terhadap perilaku mendapatkan imunisasi dasar lengkap di Kelurahan Lowokwaru Kota Malang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan cluster sampling RW adalah 142 responden. Variabel yang diukur adalah pengetahuan dan sikap ibu tentang KIPI terhadap perilaku mendapatkan imunisasi dasar lengkap. Hasil analisis uji statistik Fishers Exact Test menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan (p = 1,000 > 0,05) dan sikap ibu tentang KIPI (p = 0,366 > 0,05) tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku mendapatkan imunisasi dasar lengkap untuk anak.
English Abstract
Immunization is one of the programs that aim to reduce child mortality. Immunizations have prevented 2-3 million of child deaths in the world each year. However, there are 22.6 million children in the world that are not reachable routine immunization. In Indonesia, the primary immunization coverage nationally is still far from the target to be achieved. More than 13% of children do not get complete immunization for various reasons, whereas the complete immunization can protect children from the epidemic, disability, and death. Many factors can affect the giving of complete primary immunization, including mother’s knowledge and attitudes about immunization especially vaccination reactions that may occur in children after being immunized called Adverse Event Following Immunization (AEFI). The purpose of this study was to know the effect of mother's knowledge and attitudes about adverse event following immunization against behavior to get complete immunization in Lowokwaru’s village, Malang city. This study was an observational analytic study with cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study based on cluster sampling in RW was 142 respondents. Variable that were measured were the mother’s knowledge and attitudes about AEFI toward behavior to get complete primary immunization. The results of the analysis of Fisher Exact statistical test showed that mother’s knowledge (p = 1.000 > 0.05) and attitudes (p = 0.366 > 0.05) about AEFI did not affect the behavior to get complete primary immunization for children.
