Abstract
Ulkus traumatik atau yang bisa disebut ulser traumatik merupakan ulser yang terjadi oleh karena adanya trauma. Ulkus/ulser ini secara klinis tampak seperti halo eritema dengan inti berwarna kuning/abu-abu. Prevalensi terjadinya ulkus sekitar 25% dari populasi dunia. Ulser traumatik disebabkan oleh trauma antara lain trauma mekanik, elektrik atau luka bakar dan faktor bahan-bahan kimia. Triamcinolon acetonide 0,1% dikenal memiliki efek antiinflamasi namun memiliki efek samping oral candidiasis jika digunakan berlebihan. Banyak orang kini beralih ke obat-oabatan tradisional karena lebih alami. Gel Lendir Bekicot (Achatina fulica) yang mengandung heparan sulfat yang mampu menstimulasi pembentukan pembuluh darah sehingga proses penyembuhan ulser lebih cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gel lendir bekicot (Achatina fulica) terhadap jumlah pembuluh darah pada proses penyembuhan ulser mukosa tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) yang diinduksi panas. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling, kemudian dibagi dalam 3 kelompok yaitu, kelompok kontrol negatif (K-), kelompok kontrol positif (K+) dan kelompok perlakuan (P). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jumlah pembuluh darah pada kelompok kontrol positif dan perlakuan lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol negatif. Perubahan jumlah pembuluh darah pada setiap perlakuan berbeda secara bermakna (Anova, p<0,05).
English Abstract
Traumatic ulcer is an ulcer which caused by a trauma. Clinically, this ulcer appears as a yellow spot surrounded by an erythematous halo. This common case occurs in every 25% population on earth. Traumatic ulcer is mostly caused by mechanical trauma, thermal injury and other chemical trauma. The usage of Triamcinolon acetonide 0,1% has become popular recently as an anti-inflammation medication but studies show that the excessive amount of using Triamcinolon acetonide 0,1% can cause the oral candidiasis. Nowadays, people tend to choose the traditional and safer method. Snail mucus gel (Achatina fulica) contains heparan sulfate that can rapidly stimulate the formation of blood vessels in ulcer healing process. This study aimed to determine the effect of mucus gel snail (Achatina fulica) to the number of blood vessels in the ulcer healing process in rat’s mucosal tissue (Rattus norvegicus) that already induced by heat. The sample was selected using simple random sampling technique, and then divided into three groups, namely, the negative control group (K), the positive control group (K +) and treatment group (P). The results showed that the number of blood vessels in the positive control group and the treatment more than the negative control group. Changes in the number of blood vessels in each treatment was significantly different (ANOVA, p <0.05).
