Abstract
Rokok memiliki berbagai zat berbahaya yang dapat meningkatkan lipolisis dan asam lemak bebas yang mempengaruhi profil lemak darah. Nikotin dalam rokok yang paling utama menyebabkan penurunan kadar HDL kolesterol darah dan kemudian berkontribusi terhadap resiko PJK (Penyakit Jantung Koroner) maupun sindroma metabolik lainnya. Latihan renang dengan intensitas yang tepat diharapkan dapat memberikan efek peningkatan kadar HDL kolesterol darah tikus yang telah dipapari asap rokok kretek. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi post-test only group design pada tikus putih jantan (Rattus Norvegicus) galur wistar yang dibagi dalam 4 kelompok. Kelompok negatif tidak diberi paparan asap rokok maupun latihan renang, kelompok positif dan dua kelompok latihan renang diberi paparan asap rokok kretek selama 8 minggu. Kelompok latihan renang dibagi menjadi dua yaitu kelompok latihan renang intensitas ringan dan intensitas berat yang dilakukan 3 kali seminggu selama 8 minggu. Setelah 8 minggu semua kelompok dilakukan pembedahan dan pengambilan darah intracardiac untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan kadar HDL kolesterol darah. Pemeriksaan kadar HDL kolesterol darah menggunakan metode CHOD-PAP dengan mengubah kolesterol menjadi partikel yang berwarna dan intensitasnya dapat diukur secara fotometrik. Analisa hasil pemeriksaan kadar HDL menggunakan metode One Way ANOVA, dilanjutkan dengan uji Post Hoc LSD yang menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p<0,05) antara kontrol negatif terhadap kontrol positif dan kontrol positif terhadap kelompok tikus latihan renang intensitas ringan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah latihan renang intensitas ringan dapat memberikan efek peningkatan profil HDL kolesterol darah tikus putih jantan (Rattus Norvegicus) galur wistar yang dipapari asap rokok kretek.
English Abstract
Cigarettes have a variety of harmful substances that can increase lipolysis and free fatty acids affect blood lipid profiles. Nicotine in cigarettes are the most important causes a decrease in blood levels of HDL cholesterol and then contribute to the risk of CHD (coronary heart disease) and other metabolic syndrome. Swimming exercise with the proper intensity is expected to provide the effect of an increase in blood levels of HDL cholesterol are exposed mice that had smoke cigarettes. This study used a post-test only research group design in male rats (Rattus norvegicus) Wistar strain were divided into 4 groups. Negative group were not given exposure to cigarette smoke and swimming exercises, positive group and two groups of swimming exercises are given exposure to cigarette smoke for 8 weeks. Swimming exercise group were divided into two groups, low intensity and high intensity of swimming exercise that performed 3 times a week for 8 weeks. After 8 weeks all groups of surgery and intracardiac blood sample for examination of blood levels of HDL cholesterol. Examination of the blood levels of HDL cholesterol CHOD-PAP method to convert cholesterol into color and intensity of particles can be measured photometrically. Analysis of the results of HDL using One Way ANOVA, followed by the LSD Post Hoc test showed a significant difference (p <0.05) between the negative control for the positive control and positive control group of rat to low intensity swimming exercise. The conclusion of this study is the low intensity swimming exercise can give the effect of an increase in HDL cholesterol profile male rats (Rattus norvegicus) wistar strain that are exposed cigarette smoke.
