Abstract

Enterococcus Faecalis Merupakan Bakteri Penyebab Vaginitis Aerobik Pada Manusia. Saat Ini Resistensi Bakteri Enterococcus Faecalis Terhadap Antimikroba Sering Dilaporkan Sebagai Permasalahan Yang Harus Diperhatikan Di Seluruh Dunia. Kitosan Merupakan Salah Satu Alternatif Terapi. Sekarang Ini Kitosan Telah Diolah Dengan Nanoteknologi Menjadi Nano Kitosan Yang Mempunyai Daya Absorbsi Yang Tinggi Jika Dibandingkan Dengan Kitosan Biasa. Penelitian Ini Bertujuan Untuk Membuktikan Dan Membandingkan Efektivitas Kitosan Dan Nano Kitosan Dalam Menghambat Pertumbuhan Bakteri Enterococcus Faecalis Secara In Vitro. Penelitian Ini Adalah True Experimental Post Test Only Design Dengan Metode Difusi Sumur. Isolat Bakteri Enterococcus Faecalis Atcc 29212 Yang Digunakan Berasal Dari Bblk Yogyakarta. Kitosan Dan Nano Kitosan Dilarutkan Menggunakan Asam Asetat. Konsentrasi Kitosan Dan Nano Kitosan Yang Dipakai Pada Penelitian Ini Yaitu 1%; 0,5%; 0,25%; 0,125% Dan 0,0625%. Data Hasil Penelitian Dianalisis Dengan Uji One Way Anova, Uji Korelasi Dan Regresi Dengan Tingkat Kepercayaan 95% (Α = 0,05). Dari Hasil Penelitian Ini Dapat Disimpulkan Bahwa Hasil Penelitian Didapatkan Kadar Kitosan Pada Konsentrasi 1%; 0,5%; 0,25%; 0,125% Dan 0,0625% Menghasilkan Zona Hambat Sebesar 36,68mm, 31,18mm, 30,56mm, 26,50mm Dan 19,81mm Sedangkan Kadar Nano Kitosan Dengan Konsentrasi 1%; 0,5%; 0,25%; 0,125% Dan 0,0625% Menghasilkan Zona Hambat Sebesar 35,52mm, 31,18mm, 29,94mm, 25,75mm Dan 22.23. Pada Penelitian Ini Kitosan Dan Nano Kitosan Mempunyai Efektivitas Sebagai Antimikroba Terhadap Bakteri Enterococcus Faecalis Secara In Vitro Dan Tidak Terdapat Perbedaan Efektivitas Yang Bermakna Pada Nano Kitosan Dalam Menghambat Pertumbuhan Enterococcus Faecalis Jika Dibandingkan Dengan Kitosan.

English Abstract

Enterococcus Faecalis Is An Aerobic Bacterium That Causes Aerobic Vaginitis In Human. Currently, Enterococcus Faecalis Is Frequently Reported As A Problem In Developed Countries And Developing Countries Due To Its Resistance To Antimicrobial Drugs. One Of Some Drugs Alternative Therapies Is Chitosan. Many Scientists Have Process Chitosan With Nanotechnology To Obtain Nano Chitosan. Nano Chitosan Has A High Absorption Rate When Compared To Regular Chitosan. This Study Aimed To Verify And Compare The Effect Of Chitosan And Nano Chitosan For Inhibiting The Growth Of Bacteria Enterococcus Faecalis In Vitro. This Was True Experimental Research Post Test Only Design With Well Diffusion Method. Enterococcus Faecalis Isolates Atcc 29 212 Was Obtained From Bblk Yogyakarta. Chitosan And Nano Chitosan Were Dissolved In Acetic Acid. The Concentration Of Chitosan And Nano Chitosan Using In This Study Were 1%; 0.5%; 0.25%; 0.125% And 0.0625%. Obtained Was Analyzed Using One Way Anova, Correlation Test And Regression Test With 95% Confidence Level (Α = 0.05). These Results Showed That The Results Mean Inhibitory Zone Of Chitosan With Concentration 1%; 0.5%; 0.25%; 0.125% And 0.0625% Were 36,6875mm, 31,1875mm, 30,5625mm, 26,5mm And 19.8125, Whereas The Mean Inhibitory Zone Of Nano Chitosan With The Same Concentration Were 35,525mm, 31,1875mm, 29,9375mm, 25,75mm And 22 225. From This Study We Can Concluded That Chitosan And Nano Chitosan Both Are Effective As Antimicrobial Agents For Enterococcus Faecalis Bacteria In Vitro And There Are No Significant Beetwen Nano Chitosan And Chitosan For Inhibiting The Growth Of Enterococcus Faecalis.
