Abstract
Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan telah terjadi perubahan onset menarche pada remaja putri dan hal tersebut dipengaruhi banyak faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan usia menarche dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya antara desa dan kota di Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Status gizi (Indeks Massa Tubuh) diukur secara antropometri sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi usia menarche yang lain (faktor genetik (usia menarche ibu), pendapatan orang tua, akses informasi, dan aktivitas fisik) diukur menggunakan kuisioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross-sectional dengan sampel sebanyak 30 siswi desa dan 30 siswi kota. Data dianalisis dengan uji chi square. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan terhadap perbedaan (1) usia menarche antara desa dan kota (p value= 0,032), (2) status gizi (IMT) dengan usia menarche responden di Bojonegoro (p value= 0,002), (3) akses informasi dengan usia menarche responden di Bojonegoro (p value= 0,006), (4) akses informasi dengan usia menarche siswi di daerah desa (p value= 0,000), (5) status gizi (IMT) dengan usia menarche siswi di kota (p value= 0,014), (6) pendapatan orang tua antara desa dan kota (p value= 0,000), (7) akses informasi antara desa dan kota (p value= 0,000).
English Abstract
Some recent studies showed that onset of menarche had been changed among girls and it has influenced by many factors. This study’s aimed is to identify the difference age of menarche and the influencing factors between rural and town at Bojonegoro. Nutritional status (Body Mass Index / BMI) is measured anthropometrically and the other factors (genetic (mother’s age of menarche), parent’s income, informational access, and physical activity) are measured by questionarre. This study used cross-sectional design with 30 girl students of rural and 30 girl students of town. Data is analyzed by chi-square. Statistic analysis showed significant results of comparation at (1) age of menarche between rural and town (p value= 0,032), (2) nutritional status (BMI) with respondent’s age of menarche at Bojonegoro (p value= 0,006), (3) informational access with respondent’s age of menarche at Bojonegoro (p value= 0,000), (4) informational access with respondent’s age of menarche at rural (p value= 0,000), (5) nutritional status (BMI) with respondent’s age of menarche at town (p value= 0,014), (6) parent’s income between rural and town (p value= 0,000), (7) informational access between rural and town (p value= 0,000).
