Abstract
PT King Jim Indonesia (KJI) merupakan anak perusahaan dari PT King Jim Jepang (KJJ) yang merupakan produsen document file dengan sistem Make to Order (MTO), yaitu memproduksi item sesuai dengan pesanan dari konsumen. Perencanaan persediaan komponen menjadi kegiatan penting dalam menjalankan proses produksi untuk menghindari keterlambatan proses assembly dan pengiriman finish product ke konsumen. Perencanaan persediaan komponen di KJI dinilai masih kurang optimal, hal ini dapat dilihat dengan adanya keterlambatan start proses assembly pada bagian finishing karena keterlambatan pasokan komponen serta adanya keterlambatan pengiriman finish product ke konsumen. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan perencanaan persediaan komponen sehingga dapat memenuhi permintaan dari bagian finishing dan dapat mengurangi keterlambatan pada start proses assembly dan pengiriman finish product ke konsumen. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan untuk perencanaan persediaan komponen yang diproduksi sendiri oleh perusahaan adalah Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) sedangkan untuk komponen yang tidak diproduksi sendiri menggunakan teknik lot Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Produk yang dijadikan obyek penelitian yaitu produk Muji dengan konsumen PT DAIKI yang terdiri dari tujuh jenis. Tahapan-tahapan perencanaan persediaan komponen dimulai dari Master Production Scheduling yang diturunkan ke gross requirement dalam Material Requirement Planning, kemudian hasil perhitungan EPQ dan EOQ akan dijadikan input planned order receipt. Langkah selanjutnya adalah memasukkan nilai planned order receipt pada planned order release dengan menyesuaikan lead time masing-masing komponen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jadwal pengiriman produk muji dari PT KJI harus dilakukan 23 hari sebelum jadwal yang telah ditentukan oleh PT DAIKI berdasarkan perhitungan lead time. Untuk finish product clear file A4 20P (NPE) Muji yang dijadwalkan harus sampai ke PT DAIKI pada tanggal 13 September 2017 sejumlah 12.000 unit maka perlu dilakukan pengiriman pada tanggal 21 Agustus 2017. Untuk memenuhi jumlah permintaan finish product clear file A4 20P (NPE) Muji maka perusahaan harus memulai melakukan assembly pada bagian finishing pada tanggal 15 Agustus 2017 dengan menyesuaikan kapasitas produksi pada bagian finishing. Sedangkan untuk perencanaan bahan baku cover after hinji A4 20P muji clear menggunakan EPQ didapatkan nilai lot 27.702 unit dengan jumlah pesan sebanyak enam kali dalam enam bulan. Perencanaan bahan baku barcode sticker for Muji A4s 20P menggunakan EOQ didapatkan nilai lot sebesar 17.908 unit dengan jumlah pesan sebanyak tujuh kali dalam enam bulan yang disajikan pada planned order receipt.
English Abstract
PT King Jim Indonesia (KJI) is a subsidiary company of PT King Jim Japan (KJJ) which is a manufacturer of document files with Make to Order (MTO) system. Raw ,material inventory planning becomes an important activity in production process to avoid delay at assembly process delay and delivery to consumer. Component inventory planning in KJI was not optimal, this can be seen by the delay in the start assembly process at finishing process due to supply of component delay and and the delivery delay of finished product to consumer. Therefore this research aimed to optimize assembly process schedule and component inventory planning so it can fulfill the demand of finishing process and reduce the assembly process and delivery finished product to consumer. On this research, the self produced component inventory planning was using Economic Production Quantity (EPQ) method, while the non self produced component inventory planning was using lot technique Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The products that was being an object of this research are Muji products with PT DAIKI consumer that consists of seven different types. The stages of component inventory planning started from Master Production Scheduling which was downgraded to gross requirement in Material Requirement Planning, then the calculation result of EPQ and EOQ was becoming an input for planned order receipt. The next step was to insert planned order receipt value into planned order release by adjusting lead time of each component. The result of this research showed that the shipping schedule of PT KJI’s Muji products had to be done 23 days before the fixed schedule of PT DAIKI based on lead time calculation. As for the finish product clear file A4 20P (NPE) Muji, it had to arrive on 13th September 2017 by schedule as much as 12.000 units, therefore it needed to be delivered on 21st August 2017. In order to fulfill the order quantity of finish product clear file A4 20P (NPE) Muji, company had to start to do assembly in finishing section at 15th August 2017 by adjusting production capacity in finishing section. As for the raw material planning cover after hinji A4 20P Muji clear using EPQ, concluded that the lot value was 27.702 units with six times order in six months. The raw material planning of barcode sticker for Muji A4s 20P using EOQ was resulting a lot value 17.908 units with seven times order in six months that presented in planned order receipt.
