Abstract
Lalat merupakan insekta order diptera yang sering mengganggu ketentraman dan menjadi vektor penyakit. Salah satu jenis lalat yang sering ditemui adalah genus Chrysomyia. Pemberantasan lalat dengan insektisida organik sintetik dapat merangsang terjadinya adaptasi diri serangga terhadap insektisida yang akan diturunkan ke generasi berikutnya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya insektisida alternatif yang lebih aman bagi lingkungan. Salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan Jeruk Nipis (Citrus Aurantifolia). Kandungan aktif dari jeruk nipis yang diduga bermanfaat sebagai insektisida adalah golongan Saponin dan Flavonoid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi insektisida perasan Jeruk nipis terhadap lalat chrysomia sp dewasa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratoris murni dengan menggunakan metode post test only control grup design. Pengulangan dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali pada interval waktu yaitu jam ke-1 hingga ke-24. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 10 ekor lalat chrysomia sp dewasa tiap perlakuan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu konsentrasi perasan jeruk nipis sebesar 50%; 55%; dan 60%; dan kontrol positif (malathion 0,28%). Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa potensi insektisida maksimal sebesar 99% pertama kali dicapai oleh konsentrasi 60% pada jam ke-6, kemudian disusul oleh konsentrasi 55% dan konsentrasi 50%. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan arah yang positif antara besar konsentrasi perasan Jeruk nipis dan lamanya waktu pengamatan dengan potensi insektisida. Kesimpulan yang dapat di ambil adalah perasan jeruk nipis dapat berpotensi sebagai insektisida terhadap lalat chrysomia sp dewasa. Potensi insektisida tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh besarnya konsentrasi, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh lamanya waktu pengamatan.
English Abstract
Flies are derived from the order diptera insects that often interfere with the peace and be vectors of disease. One type of fly that is often encountered is the genus Chrysomyia. Eradication of flies with synthetic organic insecticides can stimulate the self-adaptation of insects to insecticides that will be passed down to the next generation. Therefore, it is necessary to alternative insecticides that are safer for the environment. One way is to use Lime (Citrus aurantifolia). Active ingredients of lemon is useful as an insecticide is suspected Saponins and Flavonoids class. This study aims to determine the potential of Lemon juice insecticide against adult flies chrysomia sp. This study is a purely experimental laboratory using post test only control group design. Repetitions performed 4 times at an interval of time that is an hour-to-1 up to 24. The samples used were 10 adult flies chrysomia sp each treatment. The treatment used is the concentration of lime juice by 50%; 55%; and 60%; and positive control (0.28% malathion). Results showed that the maximum potential of 99% insecticide was first achieved by the concentration of 60% in the 6th hour, followed by a concentration of 55% and 50% concentration. Pearson correlation test results showed that there is a strong relationship and a positive direction between large Lemon juice concentration and duration of observation with potential insecticide. The conclusion that can be taken is lime juice can be potentially as an insecticide against adult flies chrysomia sp. Potential insecticides are not only influenced by the concentration, but also influenced by the length of time of observation.
