Abstract
Perkembangan anak di masa prasekolah sangat penting karena masa prasekolah merupakan masa emas (golden age), ada tiga aspek penting yang perlu diperhatikan pada anak usia prasekolah yaitu, fisik-motorik (motorik kasar dan motorik halus), personal sosial, dan kemampuan berbahasa. Kekurangan makanan yang bergizi menyebabkan retardasi perkembangan anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status gizi anak dengan tingkat perkembangan anak usia 3-5 tahun di PAUD TP-PKK Desa Jatirejo, Kabupaten Nganjuk. Jenis penelitian observational analitic dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Jumlah sampel dari penelitian ini sebanyak 49 anak usia 3-5 tahun dan teknik pemilihan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Berdasarkan uji asosiasi Chi square menggunakan nilai signifikansi likelihood ratio dengan α<0,1 dan uji korelasi Spearman didapatkan hasil hubungan status gizi dan perkembangan anak usia 3-5 tahun antara lain perkembangan personal sosial p value=0,095 dengan r=0,294, perkembangan bahasa p value=0,988, perkembangan motorik halus p value=0,012 dengan r=0,431 dan perkembangan motorik kasar p value=0,000 dengan r=0,452. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terdapat hubungan antara status gizi anak usia 3-5 tahun dengan perkembangan personal sosial, motorik halus dan motorik kasar, sedangkan tidak ada hubungan antara perkembangan bahasa dengan status gizi anak.
English Abstract
Development of preschool children is very important because the preschool period is a golden period. There are three important aspect that need attention in the preschool period namely physic-motoric, social personal, and language aspect. The purpose of this study is to determine relationship between nutritional status with development of children aged 3-5 years in PAUD TP-PKK of Desa Jatirejo , Nganjuk. The kind of this research was analytic observational within cross sectional approach. Total of samples from this study were 49 children aged 3-5 years and the sample were choosen by using purposive sampling method. Based on Chi-square association test using the likelihood ratio significance value with α<0,1 and spearman correlation test showed the relationship of nutritional status and development of children aged 3-5 years among others personal development of social p value = 0.095 to r = 0.294, p language development value = 0.988, fine motor development p value = 0.012 to r = 0.431 and gross motor development p value = 0.000 to r = 0.452. The conclusion of this study there is a relationship between the nutritional status of children aged 3-5 years with the development of personal social, fine motor and gross motor skills, whereas there was no relationship between language development and nutritional status of children aged 3-5 years.
