Abstract
Neuropati perifer merupakan salah satu komplikasi kronik dari diabetes mellitus. Deformitas kaki menjadi salah satu tanda terjadinya neuropati perifer motorik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa deformitas kaki yang merupakan presentasi dari neuropati perifer motorik juga diikuti oleh neuropati perifer sensorik. 34 sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi diambil dengan cara total sampling dari 72 pasien. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Variabel yang diamati adalah jenis deformitas kaki dan lokasi neuropati perifer sensorik. Instrument yang digunakan adalah monofillament semmes-weinst 10 g untuk menguji neuropati perifer sensorik di 10 titik pemeriksaaan pada telapak kaki. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan korelasi Chi-square pada SPSS 16 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik antara deformitas kaki dengan neuropati perifer sensorik pada 7 titik dari 10 titik pemeriksaan monofilament (Chi-square, p<0,05). Area beresiko tinggi mengalami neuropati perifer sensorik adalah ibu jari, phalangeal 3, metatarsal dan tumit. Deformitas kaki Charchot merupakan jenis deformitas kaki dengan neuropati perifer sensorik pada 10 titik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penderita diabetes mellitus dengan deformitas kaki 97% mengalami neuropati perifer sensorik pada berbagai lokasi kaki. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, pada penderita diabetes mellitus dengan deformitas kaki, diperlukan pemeriksaan dan informasi dari tenaga kesehatan tentang jenis deformitas dan lokasi neuropati perifer sensorik agar dapat dilakukan perawatan yang tepat untuk mencegah komplikasi lanjut seperti ulkus diabetikum.
English Abstract
Peripheral neuropathy is one of chronic complications diabetes mellitus. Foot deformities be one sign of peripheral motor neuropathy. This study aims to prove that the foot deformity is a presentation of peripheral motor neuropathy was also followed by peripheral sensory neuropathy. 34 participants in the inclusion criteria were taken with a total sampling of 72 patients. This study is observational analytic cross sectional approach. Observed variables is a form of foot deformity and peripheral sensory neuropathy. Monofillament instrument used is 10 g Semmes-weinst to test sensory peripheral neuropathy in 10 point inspection on the soles of the feet. This study were analyzed with Chi-square correlation in SPSS 16 for windows. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between foot deformity with peripheral sensory neuropathy at 7 points from 10 point inspection (Chi-square, p <0.05). Areas of high risk for peripheral sensory neuropathy is the thumb, 3 phalangeal, metatarsal and heel.Charcot foot deformity is a deformity of the foot with the type of pheripheral neuropathy in 10 points. The conclusion of this study is patients with diabetes mellitus with foot deformities 97% experienced pheripheral sensory neuropathy at various locations feet. Based on these results, in patients diabetes mellitus with foot deformities necessary checks and information from doctors or nurses about the type of deformity and peripheral sensory neuropathy locations so that appropriate treatment can be done to prevent further complications such as diabetic ulcers .
