Abstract
ASI eksklusif adalah makanan yang paling tepat sampai bayi berusia 6 bulan dan bermanfaat menurunkan angka morbiditas dan mortalitas pada bayi. Keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan ibu yang dapat dipersiapkan melalui kunjungan ANC dan edukasi laktasi selama masa kehamilan . Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kunjungan ANC dan edukasi laktasi selama masa kehamilan dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu primipara. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Tegalgondo Kabupaten Malang dengan 69 responden yang ditentukan dengan metode totallity sampling, sebagai variabel bebas adalah kunjungan ANC dan edukasi laktasi dan sebagai variabel terikat adalah perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif. Hasil uji signifikasi Fishers Exact Test dengan tingkat kemaknaan p < 0,05 didapatkan hasil kunjungan ANC p = 0,322 dan edukasi laktasi p = 0,001. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara edukasi laktasi dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif. Sedangkan kunjungan ANC tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan perilaku pemberian ASI eksklusif.
English Abstract
Exclusive breastfeeding is the best and suitable for baby until 6 months and has benefit to decrease mortality and morbidity on babies. The success of giving exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by mother’s readiness which can be prepared through antenatal care and lactation education on antenatal period. The purpose of this research was to know the correlation between antenatal care and lactation education with the behavior of giving exclusive breastfeeding in primipara mother. The research design used analytical descriptive with cross sectional method as the approach by using questionnaire instrument. This research was realization in Tegalgondo, Malang with 69 respondens that were determined by the totality sampling. The independent variable that was observed was antenatal care and lactation education history. While the dependent variable was the behavior of giving exclusive breastfeeding. The result of Fishers Exact Test (significant level at p < 0,05) showed that antenatal care (0,322) and lactation education (0,001). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between lactation education with the behavior of giving exclusive breastfeeding while antenatal care didn’t have significant correlation.
