Abstract
Kelompok teman sebaya memiliki peranan penting dalam perkembangan remaja. Kelompok ini merupakan faktor kritis yang berpengaruh dalam peningkatan kebutuhan dan pengenalan diri. Pada umumnya remaja memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi sehingga mereka ingin berpetualang menjelajah segala sesuatu dan mencoba hal baru contohnya merokok. Perilaku merokok yang dibentuk di dalam diri remaja putri, diduga dapat dipengaruhi oleh adanya tekanan kelompok. Hal ini disebabkan setiap kelompok memiliki memiliki tuntutan yang harus dipenuhi oleh remaja apabila ingin diterima dalam kelompok tersebut Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tekanan kelompok teman sebaya dengan perilaku merokok remaja putri. Desain yang digunakan adalah analitik korelasional dengan metode pendekatan cross sectional. Tehnik pengambilan data menggunakan tehnik non probability sampling dengan tehnik snowballing dengan jumlah responden 100 remaja putri yang merokok dan remaja putri yang tertarik dengan rokok. Untuk mendapatkan data dalam penelitian ini, digunakan kuesioner tekanan kelompok dan perilaku merokok yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik Spearman Rank. Berdasarkan uji Spearman Rank didapatkan adanya hubungan antara tekanan kelompok teman sebaya dengan perilaku merokok remaja putri dengan nilai korelasi positif sebesar 0,414 dan memiliki nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05).Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin tinggi tekanan kelompok maka semakin tinggi perilaku merokok remaja putri.
English Abstract
Peer groups have an important role in adolescent development. This group is a critical factor influencing the increase of needs and self-introduction. In general, adolescents have high curiosity so they want an adventure exploring everything and trying new things for example smoking. Established smoking behavior in young women themselves, could be expected to be influenced by peer pressure. This is due to every group has to have demands that must be met by a teenager if they want to be accepted in the group. The purpose of the study to determine the relationship between peer pressure group and smoking behavior of young women. The design used is analytic correlation with cross sectional method. Data retrieval techniques using non-probability sampling with snowballing technique with the number of respondents who smoked 100 girls and young women who are interested in cigarettes. To obtain the data in this study, the questionnaire used peer pressure and smoking behavior are then analyzed using a statistical test Spearman Rank. Based on the obtained test Spearman Rank correlation between peer group pressure and smoking behavior of young women with a positive correlation value of 0.414 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05).The conclusion of this study there is relationship between peer pressure group and smoking behavior of young women in the city of Malang.
