Abstract

Diabetes Melitus (Dm) Yang Tidak Terkontrol Dapat Menimbulkan Berbagai Komplikasi Vaskular Diantaranya Karena Meningkatnya Radikal Bebas. Kondisi Hiperglikemi Pada Penderita Dm Merupakan Awal Penyebab Dari Meningkatnya Radikal Bebas Yaitu Strees Oksidative Yang Diinduksi Dari Jalur Nonenzimatis, Jalur Enzimatis Dan Jalur Mitokondria. Strees Oxidative Ini Memicu Terjadinya Kerusakan Dna, Protein Nitration Dan Kerusakan Membran Sel Yang Menjadi Peroksidasi Lipid (Mda) . Ekstrak Akar Putri Malu (Mimosa Pudica) Mengandung Flavonoid Yang Telah Diteliti Bersifat Chain Breaking Antioksidan . Telah Dilakukan Penelitian Tentang Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Metanol Akar Putri Malu (Mimosa Pudica) Terhadap Kadar Malondialdehide (Mda) Serum Tikus Galur Wistar (Rattus Norvegicus) Jantan Model Diabetik Induksi Streptozotocin. Model Tikus Diabetik Diperoleh Dengan Menyuntikan 55mg/Kgbb Stz Intraperitoneal. Metode Penelitian Randomized Posttest Only Controlloed Group Design , Variabel Penelitian Adalah Dosis Sonde Ekstrak Akar Putri Malu (100mg/Kgbb Dan 500mg/Kgbb) Yang Diberikan Setiap Hari Selama 10 Hari Dan Kadar Mda Serum. Hewan Coba Dibagi Menjadi 4 Kelompok Dengan Pengulangan Sebanyak 6 (N=6) Yaitu Kontrol Negatif, Kontrol Positif/ P3, P1 (100mg/Kgbb) Dan P2 (500mg/Kgbb). Hasilnya Didapatkan Perbedaan Kadar Mda Serum Yang Bermakna Antara Kelompok Tikus (Anova, P<0,05). Pemberian Ekstrak Akar Putri Malu Dengan Dosis 500mg/Kgbb/Hari Selama 10 Hari Paling Efektif Dalam Menghambat Kenaikan Mda Serum. Hasil Korelasi Regresi Bernilai Negatif Antara Kadar Mda Serum Dengan Dosis Ekstrak Akar Putri Malu (R= -0,877, P<0,05). Kesimpulan Dari Penelitian Ini Adalah Pemberian Ekstrak Metanol Akar Putri Malu Mampu Menghambat Peningkatan Kadar Malondialdehide (Mda) Serum Tikus Galur Wistar (Rattus Norvegicus) Jantan Model Diabetik Induksi Streptozotocin

English Abstract

Uncontrolled Diabetes Melitus (Dm) Can Cause A Variety Of Vascular Complications, Such As The Increasing Of Free Radicals. The Conditions Of Hyperglycemia In Patients With Dm Are Early Causes Of Increasing Of Free Radicals, Namely, Induced Oxidative Stress Of The Nonenzymatic, Enzymatic And Mitochondrial Elements. This Oxidative Stress Causes The Damage Of Dna, Protein Nitration And Damage Of The Cell Membrane To Be Lipid Peroxidation (Mda). The Extract Of The Roots Of Putri Malu (Mimosa Pudica) Contains The Flavonoids That Have Been Researched To Be Chain Breaking Antioxidant. Research Has Been Conducted On Studying The Effects Of The Methanol Extract Of The Roots Of Putri Malu (Mimosa Pudica) On Level Of Malondialdehyde (Mda) On Serum Of Male Wistar Rats (Rattus Norvegicus) Of Diabetic Induction Of Streptozotocin. A Diabetic Mouse Model Obtained By Injecting 55mg/Kgbb Stz Intraperitoneal. The Research Method Of Randomized Posttest Only Controlled Grup Design, The Variable Of The Research Is The Dosage Of Extract Of The Roots Of Putri Malu (100mg/Kgbb And 500mg/Kgbb) Which Are Given Daily For 10 Days And Level Of Serum Of Mda. Experimental Animals Are Divided Into 4 Groups With The Repetitions As Many As 6 (N=6), That Is The Negative Control, The Positive Control /P3 , P1 (100mg/Kgbb) And P2 (500mg/Kgbb). The Result Shows That Different Level In Serum Mda Significantly Between The Groups Of Rats (Anova, P<0,05). The Usage Of Extract Of The Roots Of Putri Malu At A Dose Of 500mg/Kgbb/Day For 10 Days At Most Effective In Inhibiting The Rise In Serum Of Mda. Regression Results Are Negative Correlation Between Serum Of Mda With The Doses Of Roots Of Putri Malu (R = 0,877, P<0,05). Conclusion Of This Research Is The Usage Of Methanol Extract Of Roots Putri Malu Can Inhibit The Increasing Of Malondialdehyde (Mda) Levels On Serum Of Male Wistar Rats (Rattus Norvegicus) Of The Diabetic Indution Of Streptozotocin (Stz)
