Abstract
Populasi orang-orang yang hidup dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA) di Indonesia khususnya di Malang masih cukup tinggi. ODHA merupakan salah satu kelompok yang rentan mengalami masalah psikologi, terutama stres. Maka dari itu peneliti menawarkan alternatif koping untuk menurunkan stres pada ODHA, yaitu dengan terapi creative writing humors . Terapi creative writing humors mempunyai manfaat dapat meningkatkan mood, sebagai bahan refleksi diri, dapat mengeksplor perasaan dan emosi seseorang. Tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari terapi creative writing humors terhadap penurunan stres ODHA di LSM Sadar Hati Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Desain penelitian quasy experiment dengan pendekatan metode satu kelompok pre test - post test design . Total sampel yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 17 sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling . Prosedur terapi ini, yaitu pertama, peneliti mengukur skor stres dengan Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS), setelah itu mulai sampel menulis humor berdasarkan pengalaman mereka dalam dua Minggu dan membagi cerita tersebut kepada orang terdekatnya. Kedua, setelah dua minggu, peneliti mengukur skor stres untuk mengetahui efek dari terapi ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan, nilai p value (0,053) > (0,05). Kesimpulannya, terapi creative writing humors tidak efektif untuk mengurangi stres pada ODHA. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya adalah mengembangkan terkait dengan prosedur terapi, yaitu dengan melakukannya secara berkelompok sesuai penelitian sebelumnya, karena dengan metode kelompok ODHA akan mendapat timbal balik dari teman yang lain dan terkait kondisi sampel yang akan ikut terapi creative writing humors perlu diperbaiki lagi terkait kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. ODHA yang akan berpartisipasi dalam terapi ini sebaiknya harus mampu, terampil dalam menulis dan masih memiliki sense of humor .
English Abstract
The population people living with HIV/AID (PLWHA) in Indonesia especially in Malang is still high. ODHA is one of groups that susceptible having stress. Therefore, researcher offer creative writing humors therapy as alternatif coping. This therapy has many benefits, among others to increase mood, to explore our emotion and feelling, and can be ourself refllection. The main aim of this research is to know the effect of creative writing humors therapy for reduce stress in PLWHA at LSM Sadar Hati Malang. Design that used in this research is quasy experiment with approximation method one group pretest posttest design. Total sampel who participated in this research is 17 samples and Sampling technic that used in this research is purposive sampling. The procedur of creative writing humors therapy are First, researcher measure score stress with Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS), after that samples start writing humors based on their experiences in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, the researcher measure score stress for knowing the effect of this therapy. The result of this research show, the signification value ( p ) (0,053) > (0,05). In conclusion, Creative writing humors is not effective for reduce stress in ODHA. The suggestion for next research this therapy need some fix in a procedure, examples creative writing humors therapy will be effective if did with grouping method, because with grouping method ODHA can get a feedback from others and related conditions of the samples need to be fixed again especially for criteria of inclusion and exclusion, that are the samples who will join in this therapy must be capable for writing, still have sense of humor, and not in crisis conditions.
