Abstract
Dengan semakin meningkatnya pertumbuhan jumlah lansia di Indonesia setiap tahunnya, besar kemungkinan pula meningkatnya lansia yang terlantar. Salah satu upaya dalam mensejahterakan penduduk lansia ialah keberadaan panti werdha. Disetiap ruangan pada suatu panti werdha perlu memperhatikan kesesuaian kondisi aksesibilitasnya dengan peraturan yang ada, dilihat dari semakin menurunnya kesehatan dan kondisi fisik lansia yang dapat meningkatkan resiko kecelakaan dalam ruangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah menganalisis kondisi aksesibilitas pada Pelayanan Kasih Bethesda Malang dan menilai tingkat kesesuaian aksesibilitasnya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis dan evaluasi kondisi aksesibilitas panti werdha dengan mengobservasi mobilitas penghuni pengguna kursi roda dan melakukan pengukuran ruangan yang digunakan lansia. Penelitian lebih memfokuskan pada aspek teknis bangunan dan hasil analisis dikuantitatifkan dengan mencari nilai rata – rata untuk menilai tingkat kesesuaian aksesibilitas, kemudian variabel dikelompokan berdasarkan tingkat kesesuaiannya. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan kondisi aksesibilitas pada Pelayanan Kasih Bethesda Malang memiliki beberapa hambatan maupun permasalahan yang ada, seperti lansia saat keluar atau masuk ruangan memerlukan bantuan perawat dan terdapat beberapa bekas gesekan kursi roda pada kusen dan daun pintu. Secara keseluruhan, setiap elemen ruangan belum memenuhi seluruh indikator yang ada dan elemen ruangan dapat dikelompokan berdasarkan tingkat kesesuaiannya. Pada kelompok dengan tingkat kesesuaian sangat kurang sesuai ialah pintu kamar mandi (20%) yang memerlukan perbaikan. Kelompok dengan tingkat aksesibilitas kurang sesuai, yaitu pintu kamar tidur (46.4%), selasar (46.6%), dan bak cuci tangan (50%). Kelompok yang sudah sesuai dengan standar ialah kamar tidur (55%) dan kelompok yang sangat sesuai standar ialah toilet (80%) dan ruang bersama (80%). Diharapkan dari hasil penelitian ini mengetahui prioritas yang sebaiknya didahulukan terlebih dahulu saat merenovasi bangunan dan memperhatikan ketentuan standar yang berlaku dalam merenovasi bangunan.
English Abstract
With the growing number of elderly people in Indonesia each year, the chance of displaced elderly will increases as well. One of the efforts on prospering the elderly is the existence of the nursing home. Each room in the nursing home needs to consider the suitability of its accessibility conditions with the existing regulations, judging by the declining health and physical condition of the elderly that may increase the risk of indoor accidents. The purpose of this research is to analyze the condition of accessibility on Pelayanan Kasih Bethesda Malang and to assess the suitability level of accessibility. In this study, the analysis and the evaluation of the accessibility condition of nursing home by observing the mobility of wheelchair users and measuring the space used by the elderly. The research focuses more on the technical aspects of the building and the results of the analysis are quantified by finding the average value to assess the suitability level of accessibility, then the variables are grouped according to their suitability level. From this study, it is found that the accessibility condition of Pelayanan Kasih Bethesda Malang has some obstacles and problems, such as the elderly need help from the nurses when they want to go out or enter the room and there are some wheelchair friction on the door frame. Overall, every element of the room has not complete all the indicators and the room elements can be grouped according to their suitability. In a group with a very poor suitability level is the bathroom door (20%) that needs reparation. The group with less suitable accessibility level, i.e. the bedroom door (46,4%), the hallway (46,6%), and the hand wash basin (50%) and the group that is very suitable with the standard are toilet (80%) and shared room (80%). It is expected that the results of this study could aware the priority that should take precedence when renovating the building and pay more attention to the applicable standard provisions in renovating the building.
