Abstract

LTE merupakan teknologi berbasis Internet Protocol (IP) dengan peningkatan kecepatan dan efisiensi spektrum dibanding teknologi sebelumnya. Frekuensi 700 MHz merupakan frekuensi yang paling ideal untuk LTE di Indonesia atas dasar cakupan yang luas, ketersediaan bandwidth yang lebar, serta propagation loss yang lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan frekuensi lain yang telah beroperasi di Indonesia. Namun, frekuensi 700 MHz diperkirakan baru siap digunakan pada tahun 2020. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan prediksi pengguna LTE di jalur tol Cipali pada tahun 2020. Data yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan proyeksi pengguna adalah data trafik kendaraan di jalur tol Cipali pada tahun 2015-2016. Penentuan jumlah eNodeB mengacu pada perbandingan kebutuhan antara capacity dan coverage dimensioning. Penempatan lokasi eNodeB mempertimbangkan blank spot area dan kepadatan pengguna di setiap seksi. Kualitas cakupan jaringan hasil perencanaan diuji secara simulasi menggunakan software Atoll Radio Planning. Perhitungan dimensioning menunjukkan bahwa jumlah eNodeB yang dibutuhkan dalam perencanaan sebanyak 11 site eNodeB dan 22 cell karena menggunakan antenna 2-sectoral. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan nilai signal level rata-rata -74,07 dBm dengan signal level yang dikategorikan baik, yaitu >-90 dBm mampu mencakup daerah seluas 65

English Abstract

LTE is an Internet Protocol (IP) based technology with speed and spectral efficiency enhancement than previous technologies. The 700 MHz frequency is the most ideal frequency for LTE in Indonesia because of the broad coverage area , bandwidth availability, as well as the propagation loss is smaller than the other frequencies that have been operating in Indonesia. But, the 700MHz frequency is estimated ready in 2020. In this study, predict the LTE user in Cipali Toll Road in 2020. The data used to derive projections of users is the data of vehicle traffic at Cipali Toll Road in 2015-2016. Determination of the eNodeB number refers to the ratio between the capacity and coverage needs of dimensioning. Placement location eNodeB expensive blank spot area and density of users in each region. The quality of network coverage planning results tested in simulations using software Atoll Radio Planning. Dimensioning calculation shows that the number eNodeB needed in the planning as many as 11 eNodeB sites and 22 cells because is uses 2-sectoral antenna. The simulation results show the value of the average signal level is -74,07 dBm signal levels are considered good, > -90 dBm is capable of covering an area of 65
