Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan, yaitu penelitian pengembangan media SPUP (Scrapbox Pop Up) dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi teks ulasan pada siswa kelas VIII di SMPN 26 Malang. Pengembangan media ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidkan media sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan guru. Tujuan penelitian ini meliputi (1) mengetahui pengembangan media SPUP pada pembelajaran mengidentifikasi teks ulasan (2) mengetahui implementasi dari pengembangan media SPUP pada pembelajaran mengidentifikasi teks ulasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan produk media visual serta mendeskripsikan pengembangan media dan implementasi pada pembelajaran mengidentifikasi teks ulasan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 26 Malang. Pada penelitian ini, menggunakan model Borg dan Gall yaitu sepuluh tahap dengan tiga kali uji coba. Adapun uji coba tersebut yaitu uji coba awal, uji coba sedang, dan uji lapangan. Data penelitian pengembangan yang diperoleh berupa data pemaparan dan nonpemaparan berdasarkan hasil wawancara, angket validator dan angket respon siswa. Adapun tim validator yang dilibatkan yaitu ahli media, ahli materi, dan praktisi. Data pada penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Kelayakan pengembangan media SPUP dianalisis menggunakan interpretasi skor. Berdasarkan pemerolehan persentase yang dihasilkan dari penelitian pengembangan yaitu pada uji coba awal dengan melibatkan 4 siswa memperoleh persentase 84%, ahli media 66%, ahili materi 69%, dan praktisi 90%. Uji coba lapangan melibatkan 16 siswa memperoleh persentase 81%, ahli media 84%, ahli materi 81%, dan praktisi 97%. Uji lapangan dengan melibatkan siswa satu kelas memperoleh persentase 88%, ahli media 94%, ahli materi 95%, dan praktisi 100%. Implementasi pada penelitian pengembangan media SPUP dilakukan di kelas selain kelas uji coba yaitu di kelas VIII A. Implementasi dilakukan untuk mengetahui implikasi media yang dikembangkan. Adapun nilai rata-rata yang dihasilkan siswa saat dilakukan implementasi yaitu 79, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai siswa dapat dikategorikan baik.
English Abstract
This research is a development research, that is research of SPUP media development (Scrapbox Pop Up) in learning to identify the text of the review in grade VIII students at SMPN 26 Malang. The purpose development of this media is to develop and validate the media according to the needs of students and teachers. (1) knowing SPUP media development on learning to identify the review text(2) to know the implementation of SPUP media development on learning to identify the review text. This research was conducted to produce visual media product and describe media development and implementation on learning to identify the text of grade VIII students at SMPN 26 Malang. This research using Borg and Gall model with ten stages and three replication. The test divided into initial test, medium test, and field test. The research data obtained by the development of description and scor data based on interviews, questionnaire validator and questionnaire responses of student. As the team of validators involved are media experts, material experts, and practitioners. Data in this research are analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. The feasibility of SPUP media development is analyzed using score interpretation. Based on the percentage acquisition resulted from the development research that is in the initial trial involving 4 students get the percentage of 84%, media experts 66%, material experts 69%, and 90% practitioners. Field trials involved 16 students is 81% percentage, 84% media experts, 81% material experts, and 97% practitioners. Field trials involving one grade student is 88% percentage, 94% media experts, 95% material experts, and 100% practitioners. Implementation in SPUP media development research is done in another tested class which is in class VIII A. Implementation is done to know the implication of developed media. The average score produced by the students during implementation is 79, it indicates that the student score can be categorized well.
