Abstract
Perabot dan ruang kelas merupakan salah satu sarana dan prasana yang wajib dimiliki oleh pendidikan tinggi untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran. Perabot yang ergonomis dapat menurunkan tingkat kebosanan dan juga keluhan sakit pada tubuh, serta tatanan ruang yang baik dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas penggunanya. Pada Jurusan Arsitektur Universitas Brawijaya, terdapat mata kuliah studio yaitu Desain Arsitektur yang menggunakan ruang studio dengan perabot berupa meja gambar dan kursi untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran dalam merancang. Pada mata kuliah ini terdapat beberapa aktivitas yaitu menggambar, membuat maket, diskusi, presentasi dan asistensi di ruang studio. Adanya beberapa keluhan yang dirasakan oleh mahasiswa di ruang studio mengenai ergonomi perabot dan tatanan ruang studio, dan ruang studio yang juga masih digunakan untuk mata kuliah teori. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin mengetahui hubungan antara ergonomi perabot dan tatanan ruang terhadap aktivitas pengguna pada ruang studio Jurusan Arsitektur. Metode yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa Desain Arsitektur dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara variabel bebas yaitu ergonomi perabot dan tatanan ruang terhadap variabel terikat yaitu aktivitas di ruang studio. Dilakukan pula wawancara dengan mahasiswa ketika observasi awal dan juga kepada dosen guna menjadi data penunjang penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan hasil bahwa ergonomi perabot dan tatanan ruang dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas di ruang studio secara signifikan, dan didapati variabel yang lebih mempengaruhi aktivitas adalah tatanan ruang, salah satu hal yang mungkin dapat mempengaruhinya adalah mayoritas aspek pada tatanan ruang sudah sesuai dengan referensi studi terdahulu, hal tersebut menggambarkan bahwa aspek yang sesuai dengan referensi/standar dapat mempengaruhi aktivitas yang ada di ruang studio lebih tinggi dibandingkan yang tidak sesuai standar. Hasil akhir dilakukan beberapa simulasi tatanan ruang studio, dan hasil yang dianggap lebih menunjang aktivitas di ruang studio adalah dengan menggunakan pola tatanan cluster dan dimensi ergonomi perabot eksisting sesuai parameter dari hasil kuesioner dan wawancara.
English Abstract
Furniture and classroom is one of the facilities and infrastructures that must be owned by higher education to support the learning process. Ergonomic furniture can lower levels of boredom and pains in the body, as well as a good space organization may affect its activity. At Brawijaya University Department of Architecture, there are subjects that architectural design studio that uses space studio furnished in the form of a drawing table and chairs to support the learning process in designing. On this course there are some activities that draw, create mockups, discussions, presentations and assistance in a space studio. The existence of several grievances felt by students in a space studio on ergonomic furniture and the room space organization, also studio space is still used for the course theory. The purpose of this study wanted to know the relationship between ergonomic furniture and space organization of user activity in the space studio Department of Architecture. The used method is quantitative descriptive, using questionnaires distributed to students of Architectural Design and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of the independent variable is ergonomic furniture and space organization on the dependent variable is the activity in the space studio. Also conducted interviews with students when initial observations and also to lecturers in order to become a research supporting data. Results from this study showed results that ergonomic furniture and space organization can affect activity in a space studio significantly, and found more variables affecting the activity is the space organization, one of the things that might be able to influence a majority of aspects of the space organization is in conformity with the reference study history, it suggests that the aspects in accordance with the reference / standard can affect activity in the space studio is higher than that do not meet standards. The end result do some simulation space studio setup, and the results are considered more favorable activity in the space studio is to use a cluster pattern arrangement and dimensions of the existing furnishings appropriate ergonomic parameters of the results of questionnaires and interviews.
