Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan menjelaskan pengaruh simultaan dan parsial Good Corporate Governance yang terdiri dari variabel fairness, transparancy, accountability, dan responsibility terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Tuban. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan bersifat penejelasan (explanatory research), jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 64 karyawan. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda yang diolah menggunakan kommputer dengan menggunakan program SPSS v 17.00 for Windows. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diketahui Sig. F ≤ α (0,000 ≤ 0,05) menunjukan ada pengaruh yang signifikan secara simultan dari variabel fairness, transparancy, accountability, dan responsibility terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dan diketahui Signifikan untuk variabel fairness terhadap kinerja karyawan, Signifikan transparancy terhadap kinerja karyawan, Signifikan accountability terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan Signifikan responsibility terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil tersebut menunjukan adanya pengaruh parsial antara variabel fairness, transparancy, accountability, dan responsibility terhadap kinerja karyawan. Nilai Adjusted R Square adalah sebesar 0,61 atau 61%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa kontribusi variabel fairness, transparancy, accountability, dan responsibility terhadap Kinerja Karyawan sebesar 61% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 39% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar empat variabel independent atau bebas dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, disarankan kepada perusahaan untuk dapat mempertahankan keefektifan dalam pelaksanaan prinsip-prinsip Good Corporate Governance (GCG) agar dalam menjalankan perusahaan dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan sesuai dengan peraturan perundangan yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan pada PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Tuban.

English Abstract

This research aimed at the exposure of the simultaneous and partial effect of Good Corporate Governance which comprises the variables of fairness, transparancy, accountability, and responsibility on employees’ performances of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) of Tuban. This study is based onan explanatory research, with 64 employees as the samples. Meanwhile, the data analysis in this study applies multiple linear regression analysis which is processed using SPSS for Windows v 17.00. Based on the hypothesis testing result, it was found that Sig. F ≤ α (0.000 ≤ 0.05) showed simultaneously significant effect of the variables of fairness, transparency, accountability, and responsibility on the employee performance.It was also found that Significant for the fairness variable on the employee performance, Significant the transparency on the employee performance, Significantthe accountability on the employee performance, and Significant responsibility on the employee performance .Those results indicated thepartial effect of the variables of fairness , transparency, accountability, and responsibility on the employee performance .The value of Adjusted R Square was equal to 0.61that means 61%. This showed that the contribution of the variables of fairness, transparency, accountability, and responsibility on the employee performancewas 61%,while the remaining 39% was influenced by other variables out of the four independent variables comprised in this research. Based on those results, it is suggested that the company be able to maintain the effectiveness in implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in order to run well in accordance withthe government regulation. Therefore, it is supposed that the performance of employees of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Tuban can improve significantly.
